Review Time
I have tried way too many brands, I always wear out the shoes too quickly due to my walking and running routine. I have gone through Sketchers,Brooks, Reebok, Nike, and Hoka and they all wear out in 2 months, except for the sketchers that wore out in 3 weeks. Walkhero has been great, it is the only shoe I buy now. I have not purchased a sneaker that was not Walkhero since 2023.
UPDATE 08.21.2025: This company did not provide the original packing so there was no way to return the items in the "box" they required. They have continued to harass me despite this situation being resolved. I took down the original negative post as promised, but because they continue to email and harass me and now also are still lying about the situation I had to put another negative post about their continued harassment. Clearly they are not satisfied that this matter was fully resolved and are incapable of just saying nothing any further. I anticipate you will see more posts about this situation; however, I will not post again. Order from this company at your own risk & with eyes wide per this review!I ordered from Walk Hero because my husband is a tennis/pickleball professional who needs/wants comfortable shoes which these stated they were. We received the shoes in a package, no box, which I was not surprised at since all companies are going to minimal packaging these days. They will say they were in a box.... they were not. If they had been I would have kept it because I store shoes in shoe boxes in the closet. I asked to return them before the expiration of 30 days. They said no because I had no box to return them in. I posted a review on Trust Pilot and BBB about their refusal to honor their return policy because of a "box." I received an email from them that said if I would remove the Trust Pilot review they would honor their policy. I wrote them back and said that's blackmail. I told them I would remove the review after they honor their return policy. The next day they refunded me in full. I removed the Trust Pilot review as promised, because I KEEP MY PROMISES. They disputed the BBB several times. About two days ago I said I did not agree with their response, but in the comments I explained they had refunded us, and I considered this matter fully resolved. They didn't let that go - they posted they didn't agree with what I said and argued about the policy and return again. I wrote back, not accepting their response to let them know that at this point they are simply harassing me. I told them because of their refusal to just drop the SETTLED MATTER, I would post on Trust Pilot about their ON-GOING HARASSMENT OF ME FOR NO REASON. Buy from WalkHero at your own risk. (I am SURE they will post a reply trying to AGAIN harass and contradict what I've said; however, all of this is in writing and wholly provable.) If I have to I will post it. I will NOT allow them to tell me I'M the one in the wrong when they are, provably.
I ordered a pair of shoes from the Walk Hero website. I tried them on and took approximately 10 steps in them. They did not fit correctly. The company refuses to send a return packing slip stating that the shoes has signs of wear and tear. When attempting to return the shoes, you have to take different pictures of all angles of the shoes before they will even consider a refund. Walk Hero is not accrediated by the Better Business Bureau, so there is really nothing that a customer can do to hold them accountable. There is also no place to leave a review on their website. This is a shady company, so please take this a a warning not to do business with them. Phil WilliamsThe Walk Hero company doesn’t tell the truth with their social media posts and emails sent out. To be clear, this review is about Walk Hero’s return policy. The shoes I ordered were the most comfortable slip-ons that I have ever put on my feet. Walk Hero states in their ads…60 days free wear tests. Right beside that statement, they state 100% risk fee money back guarantee. I honestly took 10 steps down my concrete driveway, and then took them off when walking back in the house. Walk Hero will not refund my money on the shoe purchase. The shoes, although very comfortable, they did not fit my heel right. In conclusion, this is about my experience with Walk Hero. I’m sure most people who purchase shoes from them are happy with their purchase. I’m just one of the many customers who is not happy. To the Walk Hero staff…I want to end this rebuttal to your reply to my review. If it is possible, I challenge you to post the pictures on TrustPilot of the shoes that I sent to you for review. You claim the shoes have wear and tear, and they do not meet the standards of your return policy. Post the pictures and prove the statements you have made in your rebuttal to my review. Yes I had a good experience, I have multiple things wrong with my feet and I went to the podiatrist and he suggested the WalkHero insoles - he was so surprised to see that I was wearing a pair of your WalkHero sneakers.
