OK for year 1 but best to move after…

OK for year 1 but best to move after renewalMarmalade is great for the 1st year in terms of the premium for a learner / new driver. The price with the black box is pretty good and you do not need it to be professionally fitted.The secondary insurance policy is also great when practising in a family car.However, after year 1 and with the no claims, the policy did indeed reduce from £1,600 to £1,100 but shopping around we got this for £450.

Black box sensitivity

Black box is so sensitive, taking a roundabout in 2nd gear at a slow pace and still get penalised for cornering. My car has a turbo, slight gas and I get penalised for accelerating. Price is disgusting. I pay almost £4000 for a fiesta which I first insured at 17, I’m now 18.

Avoid Any excuse for ridiculous Charges …

Bought my car insurance policy less than 48 hours ago. And my old one doesn’t expire with previous company for another few daysReceived an email saying there had been an adjustment and increase of £60 to my policy plus an admin charge of around £15 for changes. -I forgot there was a claim 3 yrs ago. Humans can’t remember everything. Especially events that happened when they were not even present. As someone hit my parked empty car and caused damage. Not my fault as I wasn’t even there. It was empty and parked. So easy to forget. So now my premium price goes up £60 plus the admin fee before the policy even starts So I contact them to cancel as well within the so cool off period. And they now want to charge me about £55 for the privilege. No thanks. Absolute rip off fraudster joke. Sick of living in Rip off Britain

Terrible customer service service

My app and documents all stated the policy expired on 13th nov. I called in 13th to renew and they said it expired on the 12th and would need to do a new quote which was more expensive. Disgusting service via the app. incorrect information given on the app and then the customer service agent argued with me saying the app doesn’t say that when physically looking at it. Then they had the audacity to ask if they can quote me next year. If you can’t organise, have a decent app and provide me with correct information why would I ever trust you to do business with again?

Confused is an understatement

Having entered details and obtaining the price which was good considering cover, I read the documents before paying, then click to pay. A message states it had timed out. Started and completed the details again and arrived at the price to find it had gone up £100! Luckily had the quote saved in Confused.com and bought via there website at the original price.
