I had a very frustrating journey with the travel insurance service. The policy seemed attractive at the time of purchase, but when I sought help, everything fell apart. Communication was slow and vague, and significant issues were not resolved adequately. The initial promises did not align with the service provided. I'm sharing this to assist others in making a more informed decision and to avoid similar disappointments.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTING. NO COMMUNICATION. EMAILS IGNORED. AVOID. I'm incredibly let down by this service. I submitted a claim on November 21st and received no response. Followed up on December 16th and still nothing. No acknowledgment whatsoever. Just silence. Next step is the Ombudsman.
This travel insurance provider seems okay as a company, but trying to make a claim against their underwriters is another story. The fine print is impossible to navigate. I attempted to claim for missed services due to a delayed flight, only to be told I hadn’t been delayed enough. Best to avoid this service.
Utterly unacceptable experience so far. I filed a claim when I returned from my holiday on September 9th. I was told I'd hear back within 5 days. After sending another email on September 27th due to no response, here we are on October 5th and guess what? Still nothing. I'm out at least £800, which I can't afford, and they haven't even acknowledged my claim!
After extensive searching for annual travel insurance for my extended holiday, I was fortunate to find this service online. I cannot praise them enough, from the initial call to finalizing my policy and making the purchase! Unfortunately, I had to cut my trip short due to personal reasons. I reached out to explain this and received a claims form that was straightforward to complete. The entire claims process took about 4-5 weeks, which was impressively quick and hassle-free! I highly recommend them, and their prices are very competitive too, which is an added bonus! Thank you for making this so smooth and easy. I will definitely use this service again in the future... I'm a very happy and satisfied customer!
If I could give them negative stars, I would. I submitted a claim for a family member who fell ill and received hospital treatment over a week ago, and I've heard nothing since. Don't let them tell you that the underwriter is handling the case, as I received no communication or support from them either while I was dealing with everything. They also requested personal details from a third party without consent. Their policies are not worth the paper they are written on, especially when they violate their own data handling procedures. My advice is to choose a more reputable provider; you might pay a bit more, but at least your information will be safe.
When I fell ill in Cyprus, I was admitted to the hospital, and the service used to manage claims while abroad was excellent. They handled all the paperwork and communicated directly with the hospital while I was still there. I only had to pay my excess. They even contacted me after my discharge to check on my well-being. I'm really impressed with their service.
