WA web might be bottom 10 experiences of all time.

Why is it that every 10 minutes the whole thing freezes and needs to restart 5 times (at a minimum) before it can resume baseline function. Ever since the stupid UI changes it hasn't been working optimally. Whatever update WA web made a couple months ago - it is NOT it. Can't believe we're in the big 26 and your web is at a 2016 stage.

Fix. Your. Web.

Frustrating recent updates

The recent versions are extremely frustrating. Even basic tasks like downloading images from chats have become impossible. I've tried various fixes on both Desktop and Web versions. The previous versions were much more dependable.

Very poor experience

Web version is terrible

The web version has become terrible since late 2025. It loses focus when new messages arrive, or fails to register 3-10 typed characters before regaining focus. It randomly highlights items the mouse isn't near or shifts focus to random chats. It uses significantly more RAM and CPU, making it feel like it's running on an outdated connection. Who approved this poor implementation that claims to be an improvement?

My device makes calls unexpectedly when the conversation is open, especially if it's upside down on a surface. I was startled awake by a ringtone, only to find I was 'calling' someone without any interaction with my device.

Unwanted AI integration

Without any notice, AI features have been added, and I find them intrusive. The prompt for assistance appears right where I type and keeps asking if I need help. I've requested support multiple times to remove it, but they haven't addressed my concerns effectively.
