Avoid purchasing high-ticket equipment from WebstaurantStore unless you are prepared to fight for basic customer service.

I spent over $500 on an upholstery cleaner that arrived defective. I contacted them immediately, and instead of handling it like any responsible retailer would, they repeatedly deflected responsibility and told me they were “waiting to hear from the manufacturer” about the warranty.

Let’s be clear: this was not a warranty issue. The unit was defective upon arrival. My transaction was with WebstaurantStore. Yet they refused to issue a prepaid return label and kept pushing the problem off onto the manufacturer while I sat with a broken machine.

For a company operating at this scale and selling commercial equipment, this level of accountability is unacceptable. If something goes wrong, do not expect urgency, ownership, or a straightforward resolution. Expect delays and excuses.

Extremely disappointing experience. I would not trust them again with a purchase of this size.

Unfair Restocking Fees for Returns

This service imposes a restocking fee of 20% to 30% on returns, even if the item is unsuitable and despite being a loyal customer. I will not purchase from this service again. Who still charges a restocking fee these days? They have lost my business for good. UPDATE: They offered a weak justification about maintaining low prices. What about customer goodwill and doing the right thing? Disappointing.

Torani Syrups

In order to get a discounted price, you have to order 3 each of one flavor of Torani Syrups. It would be nice if they gave the discount for every 3 flavors mix or match, such as 1 each of Hazelnut, Raspberry, and Hazelnut making a total of 3. But you have to order 3 each of one flavor.

Heather and any other Customer Service Specialist I have dealt with have been absolutely helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and friendly. I would highly recommend any business to have Webrestaurant as their trusted supplier. In this day and age, it so very to have a human to service you. Even "Pepper" is courteous and helpful too.
