I bought a Wellensteyn jacket (model: CARM-566-SW-M) for €299.50.

After only 3 months of normal use, the material next to the zipper started peeling and looked heavily worn – completely unacceptable for a jacket in this price range.

I returned it through the store, and while the staff handled everything professionally, the jacket was sent for inspection and came back after 5 weeks unchanged, with the claim that this is not covered under warranty.

This is extremely disappointing. Both the product quality and the warranty decision fall far below expectations for a brand like Wellensteyn.

I would not recommend this brand. At this price level, there are far better and more reliable alternatives available.

Return on own cost despite wrong item shipped

I had ordered a jacket that I had bought some years ago already. The logos on the jacket were black and that was the reason I bought it here. The pictures were showing this clearly on the shop site. However, the jacket delivered had red logos. The customer service informed me that in their T&C they reserve the right to make small changes on the products. IMHO changing from black to red logos on a black jacket is not a minor change. Now I have to return on my own cost. Worst online buying experience with these guys.

Completely Useless Jacket - Very Poor Quality for the Price

Very Poor Quality for the PriceI purchased the Wellensteyn Goldmine Extra Long Winter Coat (matt black) in the Wiesbaden store time ago. It cost €300, which was a significant amount for me, so I expected solid quality and proper weather protection. Unfortunately, the jacket has been a major disappointment.It doesn’t withstand even a few minutes of light rain. Water immediately soaks through the seams - especially on the shoulders, but really along every seam, leaving me wet after a short walk from the car to the house. For a winter coat at this price point, this is unacceptable.When I returned to Wiesbaden a year later, I went back to the shop to ask about it. I was told that the coat is “water-resistant, not waterproof,” and that this behaviour is normal. But there is nothing “water-resistant” about a jacket that fails in light rain within minutes.Overall, this coat is completely useless. Extremely disappointing purchase, and I would not recommend this coat or this brand.

I Bough a jacket exactly 2 weeks ago

I Bough a jacket exactly 2 weeks ago. It looks like i have been wearing it for 2 years. Weird stains started to appear out of nowhere and it has literal small holes in the fabric. I paid 250 dollars and the model is (blackbird) NEVER AGAIN! Horrible quality! I have had jackets that i bough for 20 dollars that were more durable.. Dont make the same mistake as i did.. All that hard earned money for something i thought would last a lifetime and i literally didnt last one month. AVOID!

Took the chance and ordered two jackets…Took the chance and ordered two jackets from Wellensteyn despite the bad reviews on Trustpilot. I got my two jackets shipped to Denmark with no problems and fast delivery. One of the jackets didn't fit so I did sent it back and got the full refund within a week. excellent service, therefore I think they deserve this review.

I purchased a jaket on line for £228 the money went straight our of my account. The next day I receievd and email addressed to someone other then me saying that they could not make my order and if I had paid I would be refunded. I wrote back saying i was not that person, they wrote back apologizing for he name error and advised i would be refunded. A few days later I emailed again and was advised they will refund me me soon. This was over 10 days ago. I complained and was told they are very busy. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE EVER

If I could give a negative star

If I could give a negative star, trust me I would. Ordered online, waited quite some time for product - no problem tho. Product arrived - not what I ordered AT ALL. So naturally, I contacted customer support, just wanting my money back (willing to send provided product back as it was not what I have ordered). No problem right? Wrong. I was first told 30% refund is maximum they can do, now they are offering 40%. For something that is completely their fault. DO NOT SHOP THERE! No professionality, customer rights do not exist for them.

Like a plastic bag

I have recently bought a new Wellensteyn winter jacket model Molecule Man. It is like taking on a plastic bag. The moisture from the body stays within the jacket making you wet. And then you get cold and start to freeze. This happens even when I just take a walk with my girlfriend.I hope that Wellensteyn will offer me another jacket which I will be able to use. The one I have is absolutely useless. Something I have newer experienced before with other brands.
