I experienced an issue with my online account, and the chat support team handled it efficiently. The problem was understood and resolved quickly, making the whole process easy and stress-free. A very positive service experience.
We were advised by Maintain-A-Drain that our shared drain manhole was in need of repair, probably the responsibility of Wessex Water. Their rep duly arrived on 18th February (as advised by them on the phone) to inspect it, and next day his team were on the job. They quickly and cheerfully efficiently carried out the cement repairs required, completing the work in a short time.
We are most impressed with this service, and also by the fact that none of the staff used bad language despite the unpleasant cold, wet weather. Well done.
Poor service
Having no supply, Wessex Water arrived and declared it a problem on the property side.
2 days later they were persuaded to return to discover the problem could be resolved at the supply meter.
Unfortunately we are tied to this unhelpful service. In the meantime a cost was incurred calling out an emergency plumber to discover the inspector was incorrect.
Wessex really need to get their act together.
Had a water leak in the external main that was repaired, promptly, free of charge under"free water supply repair " scheme with the minimum of disruption.Everything was done exactly to their programme and everything was made good perfectly.
Every person I dealt with in the organisation from Rob the leak detectorists;the two repair teams; Caroline who answered the initial call and Karen who sorted out the meter readings for the adjusting the bill were brilliant,helpful ,considerate and even had a sense of humour!!
Believe me teams, what you might consider as all in a day's work is actually unusual and makes a real difference.

I have had to contact Wessex due to a very unpleasant flood at back of property. They have been incredibly busy due to the weather over the past couple of days. However, today Loris and Rob came out and identified the problem that 3 lots of private contractors had failed to do in the past 2 weeks. All sorted in an hour. I am absolutely delighted! At the moment Alex and Paul are working hard in the dark, wet and smelly back yard to clear up the awful mess. What a job! Yet they are all smiles, and really polite and sympathetic. Anyone I have spoken to via the chat and phone have been lovely and helpful. Water companies get a lot of bad press but Wessex Water, I couldn’t be more grateful and pleased with the service you have provided.
The issue (a blocked sewer) was reported late morning yesterday, and my interaction with the customer service team was positive. An engineer was promised within 4 hours, but he arrived around 8 p.m. He worked in freezing conditions and identified the cause by 9 p.m., but had to stop due to access issues on a neighbor's property. I had to follow up with customer service for a status update mid-morning today, and the engineer arrived just before midday to continue the work, which he completed, despite some access challenges, by 2 p.m., successfully clearing the blockage to everyone's satisfaction. Pros: The service line staff were friendly and helpful. The engineer was polite, cheerful (despite the cold), persistent throughout the process, and kept me updated. Cons: I was never provided with a reference number (despite one being assigned), and I could only find out the status of the issue by calling. I would expect that every customer service system should allow online access to updates via a job reference number in today's digital age.
The company is fortunate to have employees like Antony and Charlie. They were exceptionally professional, incredibly helpful, and very friendly during their visit this morning to address our issue. They also provided valuable advice that we will certainly consider.
I reached out to the company regarding a possible leak, and the representatives arrived quickly to explain their process. About an hour later, the job was completed and everything was cleaned up. I am very satisfied with the outcome, despite the wet conditions at the time. Thank you for the swift response!
