The app and service is 10/10. Faye made it seamless to sign up and get insured. I felt a sense of relief my whole trip, because I had peace of mind I was covered if anything went wrong.

The app is incredible. It gives you resources of local apps to download, provides quality info on your flights, and makes your coverage plan clear. I also enjoyed the level of updates from the push notifications!

I purchased this insurance expecting a straightforward, customer-friendly claims process. Unfortunately, my experience has been the opposite.

I submitted over 15 documents, including a doctor’s note, a prescription for antibiotics, documentation from a physician provided through their own platform, and all flight receipts. Despite this, my claim has not been approved, and it remains unclear what additional information is supposedly missing.

The process feels unnecessarily complicated and lacks transparency. Instead of clear guidance, I’ve had to repeatedly follow up without getting a concrete answer on what would actually resolve the claim.

If the value proposition is ease of use and reliability in stressful situations, this experience does not reflect that.

I would not recommend this insurance based on my experience.

The process was excessively prolonged and frustrating.

The entire experience took an excessive amount of time. I often received no responses to my emails, prompting me to start making phone calls. Several times, I was informed that the documents had not been received, even though I had the email showing when I sent them. I called multiple times to verify receipt, and was assured they had everything needed, only to discover after numerous calls that more information was still required. This added unnecessary work and delays, especially since these requests should have been made at the beginning of the claim. If my emails had been answered, many of these issues could have been resolved earlier. The level of detail required to process the refund was excessive. After five months, we finally received our refund. Recently, I had the opportunity to work with a representative who was genuinely helpful; without her assistance, this claim would likely have continued to drag on. I would hesitate to recommend this service unless you are able to work directly with her.

Disappointing Experience with Service

I have utilized this service four times and submitted two claims in total. Initially, the pricing attracted me, but ultimately, it seems to be the reason for the poor service I've received. While purchasing insurance through the app is straightforward and the policy details are clear, getting timely responses for claims has been nearly impossible. They often delay by requesting additional "proof" or paperwork, even after providing all necessary documents during the initial filing. I've come across reviews indicating prompt responses and payments, but my experience has been different. I bought the "cancel for any reason" option for a cruise in September 2025, which I had to cancel, and I expected some reimbursement for nonrefundable expenses. However, it turned out to be a waste of money as they have not honored it, and my claim has been pending for about four months now. My latest claim was for a baggage delay during a trip to South Korea in December 2025. Despite supplying all required information, they requested more documents and said they would respond in 5 to 8 days. It has now been nearly two weeks with no communication from them. I cannot recommend this travel insurance and will not be using it for future trips.

I can’t say enough good things about Faye! We had a canceled flight and had an unexpected hotel stay with Uber and restaurant expenses. We also had damaged luggage and had to buy another flight. All of these were covered completely by Faye. They also gave us extra just for the inconvenience of it all! They really do provide what they say they will. Just be sure to keep every single receipt and email you received while making your purchases as they will require proof of every purchase, including proof of canceled flights. Don’t delete anything, you’ll need it! Also the ease of filing claims through the app, chatting with Faye reps, who are extremely personal, definitely not AI generated. They reimburse you through a debit card in the app which you can add to your Apple Wallet or transfer right into your bank account if you choose. The cost of the insurance was affordable too. Stop scrolling and reading reviews! Go with Faye, if you need them, you’ll be so happy you did!
