Review Time
I had requested a week-long rental and received confirmation via email that my car would be a Renault Clio. When I arrived at the airport, I was given a Volkswagen T-Cross. Knowing that it was August and an hard time, I made do with it, even though it was an automatic (I had requested a manual, having never driven an automatic). The agent offered to trade me for a manual the next day, but I declined. The next day, I was called and informed that I was required to return the car they had given me because it had been reserved by another customer starting the following day, when in reality it was supposed to remain with me until Saturday. I accepted the trade anyway, being a kind and understanding person. However, the fact remains that I ended up with a Dacia Sandero (worth significantly less than the price paid) that was completely dirty, with a non-functioning dashboard (if the police had stopped me, I had no way of providing the documents). Furthermore, after driving around the block, I also discovered the front right tire was completely flat. After an argument with the operator and explaining the situation to the reservations office, I was contacted by a manager who arranged for the requested car to be delivered that same evening (10 p.m.). The situation was resolved immediately by the higher-ups, but the operator proved to be very rude and impolite, and naturally, arguments ensued, especially insults, including accusations that I was simply wanting my money back, when my only purpose was to use a car for a very short, well-organized vacation. Everything else went well, but I wasted an entire day chasing someone's whims instead of using the car properly for the entire time I had booked. All this happened in Suceava (Romania)
