Review Time
This is my first 1 star review. I have written several top reviews. I think I am fair, I have given LVR Cycles a chance to change the outcome of this. Its up to you to agree or disagree with me or them. I will just inform you of the buying process.
I recently (feb2026) bought a 2023 second hand gravel bike in excellent condition, showing little wear and tear on the photos on LVR Cycles web page. Since I have bought many second hand bikes before, excellent condition to me equals little use and only minor scratches, but few.
Pause a bit here, since you have to wait 3 weeks to get the shipment from France to Norway. Their logistics partner is not in a hurry, and the shipment is expensive. Double the price of Canyon, that use UPS and delivers Germany to Norway in 4-5 working days.
When the bike box finally came, the bike I bought clearly is well used.
The crank arms are full of scuff marks. The wheels are also full of scratches. Inside the fork the previous owner has maybe used a tire that is too big, and scratched the paint away in two 3 cm scratches. The paint has been scratched also a couple other places with more minor affects. The right shifter has been scratched to the ground or something, the rear derailleur the same.
I asked LVR Cycles how they can call this an excellent condition bike. I showed them photos of the fork, the wheels and one other paint damage at the frame. They still feel it is correct description since: the bike is a gravel bike, it is from 2023, I should expect wear and tear. What LVR Cycles does not understand is the description Excellent condition. I tried to tell them this, their counter argument was that the bike is sold discounted so I should expect that. Well, all bikes from 2023 are sold discounted even though they are real excellent condition.
They also sold the bike "ready to ride, gears indexed". They were so off, but they claim its because of shipment.
My ask from LVR Cycles was a refund for the wrong description and a reimbursement of mechanical costs for indexing. No chance, they offered a small voucher on their web page.
Then they tell me I can return the bike at my own costs. So I pay 180 eur for shipping to me, now they suggest I pay this amount another time to ship the bike to them.
To compare, Canyon does this for free if you return a bike. Then they refund the original shipment costs as well.
No more LVR Cycles, thats for sure.

This was my first order with LVR and it was a very positive experience. One item was out of stock, but I received an update within a few hours regarding the expected delivery time. The order was eventually shipped on that date as well. This is most certainly not the last time I will place an order with LVR.
I purchased a DT Swiss ARC 1600 wheelset from LVR Cycle, specifically requesting an XDR SRAM freehub. Instead, I received a Shimano version. After opening a support ticket, they sent the correct freehub, but when my trusted DT Swiss dealer tried to install it, they found the wheel was defective and blocked when mounted on the bike.Since then, LVR Cycle has avoided taking responsibility. They keep telling me to handle the issue through my local DT Swiss dealer and have ignored my emails when I requested that they cover the cost of the freehub replacement and warranty handling, which my dealer is now managing. This is unacceptable for a premium and expensive product. Poor customer support and zero accountability.
I recently purchased several bike parts from LVR Cycle, and I’m extremely satisfied with the whole experience. From start to finish, the service was smooth, fast, and very professional.Product Quality:The bike parts I ordered were all authentic, high-quality, and exactly as advertised. Everything was well-packaged and arrived in perfect condition. You can really tell they only sell legit and premium components.Customer Service:Their staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. They assisted me with the voucher that supposed be expired,Price & Value:Prices were competitive, and considering the quality and service, it’s definitely worth it. No hidden charges, no hassle — just straightforward and honest transactions. Btw im from UAEOverall Experience:LVR Cycle has gained my trust. If you’re looking for a reliable shop that offers genuine products, fast service, and excellent customer support, I highly recommend them. I’ll definitely buy again for future upgrades.
