⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I recently rented a car from WLC Rent a Car, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! From start to finish, everything was seamless and professional.The booking process was straightforward, with clear pricing and no hidden fees. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to ensure I had the perfect vehicle for my needs. The car itself was spotless, well-maintained, and a dream to drive.I also appreciated their flexibility with pick-up and drop-off times, which made my trip stress-free. Exceptional Customer Service from WLCDuring an unexpected and challenging time, I had to travel to my hometown, Brașov, flying from Dublin to Bacău on a last-minute, unplanned trip. Upon arrival, I managed to get a taxi from Bacău to Brașov, as I couldn’t connect with any car rental companies that late in the evening.The following morning, I called WLC and was fortunate to speak with Madalina. She was absolutely exceptional. Despite WLC not having a branch in Brașov, she managed to arrange a vehicle matching my requested range within just a few hours—and delivered it right to my doorstep!The entire process was effortless. Everything was handled via a few WhatsApp links, and soon I was ready to drive. Even though my request was last-minute, WLC did not exploit the situation by overcharging me. After comparing other rental companies, I found WLC to be the most affordable option for my needs.Madalina went above and beyond to make everything simple and affordable during what was a very difficult time for my family. When I needed to extend the rental period unexpectedly, Madalina and her team made the process smooth, hassle-free, and cost-effective.I’d also like to acknowledge the professionalism of the representative who delivered the car to me and the team in Bacău who managed the car’s return at the airport. Everyone I dealt with was diligent, courteous, and willing to go the extra mile. Their entire system functioned perfectly—like a Swiss watch!Overall, WLC provided excellent customer service and top-quality products at a time when I needed them most. A huge thank you to Madalina and the team for an outstanding experience. WLC has become my go-to car rental company whenever I return to Romania.

Don't use this company!!!

Don't use this company!!!I booked a car with the for the weekend, i paid the cleaning fee online and full insurance.As soon as i got at the aeroport i called them to ask where i need to collect the car from and after several calls a lady answered and said she will let her colleagues know that i am in the aeroport and they will call me. I thought they will drop me the car in the aeroport but wasn't happening. After another 20 minutes i called them again and i asked where i am collecting the car from because no one called me and i would like to take the car which i paid for at a certain time.The lady told me to walk from the arrival terminal to the departures and wait there.Again after 15 minutes i start calling them and they said someone will come and pick me up.As soon as i got to their yard, they gave me a car and told me that i am only allowed to drive 300 km per day and whatever is on top of that i need to pay, i wasnt planning to drive it for so many km anyway but was frustrating because on their website no one is mentioning that. The lady took a contract from the table and she said to me that it doesn't matter if i paid extra fee online when i done the booking for the car to be cleand and to bring the car as clean as possible, i paid for extra insurance for my peace of mind but when she got to the insurance i have been told that the insurance i paid for, covers only the body elements of the car and everything else is my responsibility.The car was older then they said ( only 2 years old cars is saying on their website ) and the gear box was barely working, struggling to shift the gears.As soon as i called them to return the car after 2 days, one of their employees said i can come there but they are very busy and i need to wait if i want to be dropped at the aeroport. I got there and i gave the car for inspection to the man who was in the office at that time and he said he found cigarette ash in the car and few scratches on the driver door. I told him i am not smoking and i was the only one who drove the car but the guy was not listening and after few minutes he came back to me and said i scratched the car and i need to pay for the scratches and for smoking in the car.I showed him the photos of the car from the day i collected and luckily i had a photo with the scratch being there before i took the car.To get at the aeroport and not to lose my flight because of him, i gave him 50 euros for the cigarette ash he said he found in the car and then he was happy enough to drive me to the aeroport, but i didnt get any receipt for the money. I really dont recommend anyone to use this company.

Great service overall! WLC has locations all over the country, a wide variety of vehicles available for rent, and well trained personnel.I will definitely use their services in my future trips.

Worst rental experience ever

It was our first experience with WLC Rent A Car, and overall it was awful: it took 1.5h to receive a car, we paid more than expected, the fuel level was marked incorrectly in rental agreement, etc.. (see point 8 of review for biggest possible scam).There were lots of fake promises on their website or e-mails, (screenshots attached) I've contacted their support via email. They promised to fix all issues ASAP (although, it is difficult to believe that such big company faces any of these issues for the first time) . So, please leave feedback if you faced similar situations ; ).More details - below:1) We wasted lots of time waiting for WLC agent. It was promised that "WLC RENT agents will meet you on the “Arrivals” area..." No one has met us. No one has called to warn about that. We wasted time, to understand this fact. Then wasted time and money to call and contact them. Then we also had to search for agent not in Arrivals, but in totally different location - outside of Airport's Departures, Parking Lot " A"2) We had to pay extra money for Casco, although website's FAQ section says: "The price shown is the final price you will pay(VAT included) for the rented car. The price includes unlimited number of miles, Casco & RCA insurances, road taxes, 24/7 Assistance, free car replace."When we arrived - worker told, that Casco not included and I must pay money for it. I had bought insurance from my own country for the rental. But this insurance (to work correctly) needs CDW and theft excesses that are part of Casco insurance. They don't have those in rental agreement, although it was promised. When I asked them, where are these numbers in agreement, what are the deductible excesses - nobody, including head office of WLC couldn't tell me this. Scam.3) I paid extra conversion markup to bank, since WLC refused to take my Revolut Credit card. Nowhere on web-site was told that I can't use it. Another money wasting, since only Revolut provide honest coversion rates EUR-> RON (you have to pay for rent in RON)4) Finally we received the car, but when I inspected it after worker did the same, I found out that fuel level was marked wrong (there were 2 fuel tanks in ca: E95 and LPG, but worker marked LPG level in E95 section only ) + no spare tyre or sealant was provided. Fortunately, I noticed all this, and they provided sealant + changed fuel levels in rental agreement.When returning car, there were 3 major issues:5) I got a feeling, that worker in any way tries to squeeze more money out of us, because he even wanted to charge us for washing&cleaning of the car, insisting that he found some dirt on the rubber rugs on the floor. Although, on website there is info, that washing is included in price. I will attach photo of car interior at moment when we returned it.6) The worker who received car, marked in contract (that is in Romanian language, worker knew that I don't speak Romanian language. ) field "murdar si identificarea eventualeror daune este impossibla " ("car is dirty and damage and the identification of possible damages is impossible" ), even without translating what it means and telling ANYTHING to us and just gave to sign the paper, although our car was clean. Before returning the car we washed the car previous evening before going to airport. I will attach the photos of car at the moment we returned it.My question: does this really counts as dirty car, that it is impossible to detect issues?8) the situation from previous point now, after I translated rental agreement, seems more like a scam or fraud, because after we returned car and signed all papers, worker used this car we rented to ride us to airport terminal as shuttle service. This means, he could scratch or damage car on his way there or back, and make this as our fault, due to point 7, and tell later that damages were "under the dirt"!!!! this is really frustrating.I hope this will help to new potential customers to detect all risks early.
