We received a box as a gift from a friend

We received a box as a gift from friends, for a night or two in a French Hotel. I rang the Hotel but the Reservations department asked me to try to book sending them an email with the photograph of the Wonderbox gift. They do not seem very happy to do the booking. I am just waiting ( 24 hours) for their response. Not the usual reservation procedure.All in all, I do not recommend giving these boxes as a gift: they really are too much trouble!WillLet you know what the hotel responds to my email!

3 hotels were not a part of the scheme

3 recommended hotels said that they were not a part of the Wonderbox scheme and would not accept our reservation.We eventually had to go to a hotel outside the city which was nice if a bit dated.
