My husband bought me a 1968 Chevelle and it needed a radio and speakers. He purchased this and after installing - he says it sounds better than the stereo he has in his 1970 Chevelle! The car is now put away for the winter - but next spring I will be driving with the windows down and music going!!!
Stereo was simple to install. We had also purchased and ran power for an amp but after install of this stereo it was totally unnecessary as the power and cleanness of this was amazing. I really enjoy the Bluetooth and especially the USB port as we downloaded hundreds of albums on a 30 Gig drive and it plays thumping. I have T-Tops on my 79Z28 and we are rocking down the interstate with plenty of dial to turn should you want it Lauder. Most importantly it looks totally old school and fits in the old school cars perfectly. You won't be disappointed! This stereo puts out some serious quality music.
Overall a good unit...instructions could have been a little clearer...I did not care about preset memory or clock since my 62 already had a clock so I left yellow wire out of the loop so to speak...unit won't function without it...but what annoyed me the most...connections from wires to speakers should ALL be the same period...no reason what so ever to have them left them unfinished
