The process was really easy, despite being 100 miles away. I called to enquire about our (now purchased) vehicle and spoke to James, who dealt with us throughout our purchase. He holds a wealth of knowledge on the vehicles they hold in stock, along with Ashridge being an RAC/JLR approved dealership we felt comfortable making the journey to view the car. 1 test drive and 1 week later and we collected the vehicle. As we travelled by train, James offered to collect us from the nearest train station. However, delays on the day meant we were unable to take him up on this offer. The car is great, but a couple of things to note: -
- it was ‘spotless’ upon collection day. There were some dirt marks on the interior and finger marks on the glass. The weather was not the best, but still 🤷♂️
- handover seemed a little rushed, with no explanation of features/controls on the vehicle (I imagine this was due to our delayed arrival though). Luckily my wife came with me to collect (she probably knows more about the infotainment than i do now!).
- Ashridge are not insured to allow children on test drives. We bought this as a family car, it was important that we all got to experience it on the test drive and this was not possible.
- my V5 arrived last week…despite all other paperwork being spelt correctly, the team at Ashridge spelt my name wrong. I now have to go through the DVLA hoops to get my V5 corrected.
Other than the comments above, I am happy with the experience with Ashridge. They are very helpful and knowledgeable, and I would recommend a trip to them as you will find the car you want out of their select of approved vehicles.

Looking to buy a new EV I approached Ashridge Vehicles - but the car I was interested in was already sold. They said they would call me back to confirm it had sold - but they failed to do so and didn't even follow back up to see if they could help with something else. Honestly, some of the reviews are telling. Maybe give this one a pass...
Notice a bit of peeled on the driver side of my Range Rover, was told is a common issue by the sun. Message Phil, he asked me to take a photo, and was ask to bring the car. The car was checked and they book me in to sort out the issue. Paige who’s in charge for after care, she looked after me from start to finish, the did an excellent job, great atmosphere, was at the waiting room for about two hours with my daughter and she loved it there. Honestly Ashridgevehicles are the best for quality use cars.
Fantastic service from start to finish. What a team was looked after with my purchase and a brilliant service when I damaged the car after only a week, the after sales team lived up to the service received when buying the car. Will definitely be back and recommend to everyone.
Like other reviews being left. The aftercare service is poor. Had a fault with the car after purchase. Car was sold with a dangerous fault. I was left out of pocket, not what you expect. I change cars fairly regularly and they just lost my future revenue for what was a small amount of money. Shame the business doesn't understand its easier to retain customer than find new ones.
Brought my Tesla from Ashridge in February. Great car very well specked and immaculate. Unfortunately had a climate issue. This took some time to sort out but eventually the car was sorted and I’m pleased with the car. They have a great selection of immaculate cars at good prices. My experience started off well then went abit sour but as promised the company sorted the issue. Well worth a look at there stock.
