I ordered three items, but one of them was incorrect. I initially contacted the company using the submission form on their main page, and then followed up with the concierge team, who responded promptly and are apparently based in the US. I received three separate emails from them, only to be told they couldn’t assist me directly and that their UK counterpart would handle the issue instead.They passed on the UK contact details and was also advised to use the returns page which felt like passing the buck. Why should I be burdened with returning an incorrect item when the mistake was entirely on their end? They could have easily arranged a Royal Mail pickup or offered a more customer-friendly solution. But no nothing of the sort was even suggested.This has been a frustrating and disappointing experience. A company that operates like this clearly puts profit over customer service. It seems the CEO and directors are completely out of touch with the operational mess customers are forced to deal with. I’ve wasted my time trying and failing to get the item I actually ordered.
My reviews unlike most others is positive as had a good experience, although I had no need to contact customer services where most issues seem to arise. I purchased Total Protection Shield Flex and am very impressed. The colour changes to match my skin tone, is easy to apply with fingertips and provides great coverage, it can be built up as needed. Since purchasing this I’ve not applied foundation once as the application time is so much quicker with Flex. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.
I received a 20 percent off card in the mail after the expiration date. Contacted them and they said I could still use it. Several days later I tried and they said it wouldn’t work due to the expiration date. I texted and explained and received a written text saying it was fine to use it and the discount would be applied. It didn’t work. They texted again and said no wouldn’t work due to expiration. I explained that I had it in the text message that morning saying it was ok. They said no. I asked for a supervisor to contact me since I had it in writing. No response. Product is excellent although very expensive. The chat and email responses are scripted and take days to complete. Just not worth it at this point. ColorScience customer service is the worst.
I purchased this from my hair salon as it was highly recommended. I bought the stick blush, foundation, glow and under eye corrector. I enjoyed using them until the foundation took on a foul sour odor upon application. I’m guessing it has expired but I purchased this about 5 months ago. Very disappointed considering I spent over $200.00 on the products. Expiration dates is 05/2026. I will stick to the mainstream brands that I have trusted for years.
I bought the sunscreen as it had been highly recommended by an acquaintance. Some time later I got an email with an offer and a free gift if I spent a given amount of money. I bought the Flex, which had also been recommended and an eye product.What a royal waste of money!!!All the products are super small, especially the eye one, which I cannot even tell if there is anything in the bottle at all.I have not seen any improvement on my skin. Highly overpriced.
The worst customer service ever! Avoid purchasing if you can.I purchased two Products 8 weeks ago. One arrived & the other was missing. I have been emailing since for a refund, they clearly do not read emails as they shipped another one few weeks later. Then they claim they can’t refund until they receive the product back. I was emailing someone called Amy, who takes forever to respond & doesn’t know where my refund is even after they received the product back. I sent a follow up email to chase this & someone called Helen replies saying; you will not be getting a refund, here’s 25% off your next order? After I paid full price & returned extra product they tried to send. She claims they are a small team. Please avoid multiple orders at once if you are placing an order. The small team probably miss items out whilst packing.
There is a reason all the people review this company so badly and primarily is due to their HORRID CUSTOMER TEAM. They dont love what they do which is to service the honest clients who buys instead they are using it as an option to be rude. This would definitely damage the company and their reputation. I have a horrid experience. Though I love most of their products my experience with their new released MOISTURIZER is horrid. PLZ GUYS IF U R PRONE TO PIMPLES STAY AWAY. You will be in deep issue and their customer service will treat you as though they are SADDIST. I have been buying their products since 2021 and I am currently INSIDER TIER gonna be ELITE member but this is my experience. BE CAREFUL.
Ordered a product over 20 days ago and still haven’t received it. Customer service are slow to respond and haven’t resolved the issue with lazy DHL delivery drivers. Go somewhere else for your mineral sunscreen! Especially if you’ve ordered it for a holiday, it will not arrive in time (if at all). Such a shame as they’re pretty decent products.
Only 1 bottle of Sunforgettable Total Protection Face Shield Classic 50 SPF delivered on order #56391 - JUNE 02, 2024 09:37PMThe DHL boxed was sealed and not tampered with, so it seems Colorscience themselves did not ship the right quantity.They don't provide a UK phone number or online web chat to contact them. Only able to send a web form and now at their mercy to resolve this. If not resolved, will lodge complaint with the credit card company to claim my money back.
