I had been using Stylekorean for a while to purchase orders (2yrs+) without many issues (sometimes items arrive damaged or broken and mostly this was sorted out through a refund in store credit). However, the issues with my most recent orders are too much!
I am based in the UK and with the UK, when you select shipping, Stylekorean will add a VAT charge on top of the item total. So I expect not need to pay VAT when receiving my parcels, however, my last couple of orders (I stock up during the Xmas sales), I pay for the order with the VAT surcharge as per normal, but when they arrive in the UK, DHL sends me a VAT bill and holds the parcels unless the bill is paid (20% +£11 handling fee).
I have clarified with DHL this is due to Stylekorean filling in the customs forms as VAT is unpaid and will be paid by the customer (me!). I explain to them the issue and they confirm that I should contact the seller to correct the customs forms as the bill is only VAT related.
I then contact Stylekorean and they keep sending the same copied and pasted response that the customers are responsible for customs duties. I have contacted them multiple times now about this issue and provided them with screenshots and proof and explained to them the situation using the Chatbot (they do not have an email or phone number to call) and every single response is the same copied and pasted or it is entirely ignored and they mark as 'case closed'.
Stylekorean policies say that if the parcel is not delivered or destroyed by the courier, I will not be entitled to a refund or replacement products.
I will never order from Stylekorean again and I will be filing a charge back with Paypal of all the screenshots and evidence I have. AVOID ordering! Customer service is terrible and they will charge you 'taxes' that you have to double pay.
Really disappointed with my recent StyleKorean order. I placed it on Oct 5 without knowing there was a shipping delay from Oct 2–9 — nothing was shown on the site while ordering or paying. I only found out after I messaged them.When they finally replied on Oct 10, my order was still “under process” with no tracking number, yet they refused to cancel or refund, saying it was already packed. I even explained I was traveling and no one could receive it, but they didn’t care.Now I’m stuck with products I don’t need. Terrible communication and zero flexibility — definitely not the service I expected from a brand I used to trust.
Ordered a big package, which got stuck in UPS warehouse. Had to contact UPS all by myself multiple times, because all the store did was sending me auto generated messages sort of “we can’t do anything, it’s all local authorities”, asked for a refund, got this: “please understand that the customs clearance process is fully under the authority of the local customs office, which makes it very difficult for us to process a refund or arrange a reshipment at this stage” like i don’t want to understand???? on their website they say delivery takes 3-5 business days, it’s been 32 days already and I have no updates. I thought whatever, this package won’t be good anyways even if they send it, because they definitely don’t keep it in a fridge and it will go bad just hanging somewhere in the box. So I decided to order another one. Yesterday they shipped it and guess what? Miracle didn’t happen and it got same status, as the other one. I assume, they ship something what is not supposed to be shipped to US, or they don’t have proper documentation for their product. I will have to claim a refund through my bank, store itself don’t seem to care much
I am writing to express my full agreement with your recent review regarding the poor service experienced with StyleKorean.com. I, too, am facing a similar and equally frustrating situation with an order placed on 2025-08-29. My package is currently stuck in a customs loop, and despite my efforts to resolve the issue, I have been met with the same unhelpful responses.Upon contacting UPS, I was informed that there is nothing I, as the recipient, can do, nor can UPS intervene further, as the package is being held due to StyleKorean.com's failure to provide the necessary documentation. This directly mirrors your experience and points to a systemic issue with their international shipping practices.As a loyal customer of StyleKorean.com since 2021-02-15, I am deeply disappointed by this lapse in service. My previous orders have generally been smooth, but this recent incident has severely eroded my trust in their reliability. The fact that I have successfully received two orders from YesStyle.com during this same period, even managing to pay a 10% tariff through FedEx.com without issue, further highlights StyleKorean.com's inadequacy in handling international shipments. This stark contrast demonstrates that other retailers are capable of managing customs requirements efficiently, making StyleKorean.com's failure all the more unacceptable.Given these circumstances, I can no longer recommend StyleKorean.com to others and will unfortunately be taking my business elsewhere. It is imperative that online retailers, especially those operating internationally, take full responsibility for ensuring their shipments comply with all customs regulations and provide adequate support when issues arise. StyleKorean.com has clearly failed in this regard, leading to significant inconvenience and financial risk for their customers.
Beware of this supplier!! And beware of the fake reviews! Not clear at all at the checkout that there would be custom taxes to be paid by customers. Thankfully, I always rely on Trustpilot and found out about these extra payments. Later, on their website, I noticed there is a paragraph about this topic in a hidden section of FAQs but they never reported this info during the purchase process. I sent multiple inquiries to cancel my order while it was still in preparation, they completely ignored them and put the package on shipping phase.This morning I received an email from Italian DHL customs to insert my fiscal data and pay a taxes amount of 58USD!! I immediately rejected the delivery and sent it back. DISAPPOINTING AND RIDICULOUS!
i placed multiple orders on their site over the past year & I can really say, this site is really my only go-to site for kbeauty products (apart from Amazon) & each time my orders come well packaged & on time. never had an issue with them.
I have purchase about 6 times now and have received all parcels quickly sometimes within a week. They have excellent offers and the products are fantastic, they even include free gifts to try too.As for customs… I believe VAT is included and if below the amount allowed through Customs you should be ok… touch wood delivered ok by the courier DHL which have been really good with updates on delivery. I would recommend, I am sure there are cases when customs charge you but it’s not really the fault of the seller.
Placed an order for $250 8 days ago and it still hasn't been shipped. When I tried to cancel the order, the system told me they can't because it's out for delivery already. They just fool you and keep your money, don't believe the good reviews, they are all bought.

I really don't mind this at all. The offers are so popular because the value is exceptional. As my orders are £60 or over I currently get free p&p anyway, which is DHL Express.
