I bought a small swing arm wood burner and bbq from Burford Garden Centre in the sale. I thought it would be a great multi functional piece of kit. The product came without instructions, chipped glass and the door would not close properly. A replacement with delivery paid for at my own expense was similarly damaged although the door was functional. Online instructions say it is safe to use bbq briquettes but not coal. It is not possible to bbq anything on the product with just briquettes because the distance between the coals and the grill is too deep. In consequence everything was cooked in the household oven, one of my guests was ill possibly due to food poisoning whilst we messed around trying to get everything to cook and this has ended up being a very expensive mistake. Great wood burner but it is not a bbq. Very very disappointing and distressing.
