I had a new roof installed. The Gutter Helmet Rep who came out to survey the situation was very nice and helpful. Gutter Helmet came out and re-installed all the helmets in a timely matter. The gentleman who installed the helmets was very friendly, helpful and efficient.
Pricing is comparable or less than micro filter brands and product is superior. All of the negative reviews have to do with a $50 fee for asking them to clean the gutters. I was very happy with the sales process and the installation. The only reason why I gave this company 4 stars instead of 5 is that I asked them to not come too early in the day. The installer showed up at 7:30 a.m. which was annoying. He did a great job though and was done in an hour.
The one star is for the fact that they did show up! The team was in and out in a very short time and left without advising me that they were done even though they knew I was home as we had spoken when they arrived. They did install gutter guards, but that was all.The contract I had with Lednor included re-leveling of the gutters, check caulking, and clean out the downspouts. I had specifically brought the downspouts to the attention of the sales person as I knew them to be blocked. I have no evidence that any of these requirements were completed by them, on the contrary, it is obvious that the downspouts were not cleared .The first rain we had just days after they installed the guards resulted in the continued overflowing of the gutters as shown in the attached photos. It is noticeable that the main overflow is from the end away from the downspout which, to me, indicates that the slope of the gutters is opposite to what is needed and that this portion of the contract as ignored. These overflows continue to destroy my garden below the gutters.The contract was for a not inconsiderable sum of money, all of which was very quickly charged after the crew were here without any enquiry from them as to my satisfaction. Obviously their billing department is efficient!!I complained immediately that it was obvious that they had failed to complete the job, sending photo's to show their failure, and was told that they were running 2-3 weeks out for service and that the installation crew would be in touch to advise me when they could be expected. There was no intimation that they would prioritize this as a correction to a failed installation. That was on June 9th. It is now June 28th and nothing from them. Obviously customer satisfaction is a somewhat low priority.The only correspondence I am receiving consistently from the company is encouraging me to recommend them to my friends and family. Are they joking?

He thoroughly explained the inspection process of my existing gutter system and what he would be doing. He addressed all of my concerns and exceeded my expectations by expeditiously ensuring my gutters were cleaned out and pollen removed. Our experience with Gutter Helmet has been positive from start to Finish. Our sales consultant Glen Weaver was very thorough in his explanation of how the gutters worked. We were surprised at how affordable the gutters were to install. The installation team arrived on time and completed the job within just a few hours. They were pleasant and respectful of our property. The best part of the process was that there were no surprises, no hidden fees . We have since recommended Gutter Helmets to neighbors and family and would not hesitate for a second to use them on future properties.
We are in NJ. Our Gutter Helmet was installed in Sept 2023. Our salesman Rich Pacuku from the Mt Laurel Office was very professional in his presentation and very detailed about everything. A pleasure to work with. All was well until this month May 2024 when we saw sparrows at the one corner of our gutter where the downspout is located. My husband used his binoculars and saw where sparrows were getting into the corner so we called Rich first and he said to call Cus. Service and they will make an appt to come out. We called and they explained this is their busy season and it would be about 3 weeks. I called Rich and explained if they block the gutter it will overflow into our basement window area and we will have a water problem in the basement. That problem was why we called Gutter Helmet originally. He said he would call and see if they could come sooner since it could create a water issue in our basement. We got a text 7 days later that they were coning out to repair the problem the next day!! Amazing! Brian and Eric were very professional and knew exactly what to do to correct the problem. Make a long story short, Rich was awesome in helping us and the repair guys were too!! They took off the one piece that was too short and not fitting close enough to prevent birds from entering the gutter. They even took before and after pictures for us to show the problem and the repaired gutter corner! ! Very impressed!!! Have referred people to you! We love our system! Thank you!!!!!!
We had Gutter Helmet installed on our house in 2019. At time of install, we were told the gutters would be inspected and cleaned free of charge as needed. Our contract also states the same. I called in February 2024 and was instructed there is now a $50 fee for them to come out and clean the gutters. I received no communication about a change in contract. Asked to speak with manager and told they would call back within 72 hours. Manager never called back. It is now March 2024. Called back and told the fee is not manufacturer fee but a franchise fee. That is not the case. Fee was imposed by Gutter Helmet company not the individual franchises. They do not honor warranty or contract, even if you purchased through Costco.
I had Gutter Helmets put on my home 3 years ago. At the time, I was told that I could get a FREE annual inspection and cleaning by calling the company. Last year when my Gutter Helmets built up with pine needles and debris on the edges, rain would splash over the edge and onto the ground. I requested the free inspection and cleaning but was told these would now cost $50 per visit. I proceeded with the cleaning, but the Gutter Helmets built up debris and failed again within 6 months. The product worked for me when kept clean but failed once debris built up on the edge.
