HiHello is a neat concept. I’ve created a digital business card and was great for novelty but you can’t hand it out like an actual business card. I understand it saves tons of money (and trees) but it isn’t a viable replacement for physical cards.
I really like the design of the app and the way the digital cards present themselves. However, there are two things that could be improved. One, it was so cool when another friend had all my details automatically uploaded to his contacts on his iPhone by scanning my QR code...but then they disappeared later when he went to find them. They were nowhere to be located. Two, the limit of scanning 5 cards on the free app makes it a relatively useless feature.
The ease of downloading and setting up the app was fantastic. I even got a friend to download the app as well, because it is user friendly. It was simple and direct. The only issue I had with setting it up with my friend, is that unlike IOS, I was unable to put it in her android wallet. My iPhone made it easy for me to do it. I am quite please with this app.
HiHello's digital business card is pretty slick. Unlike some of the others I've tried, it works great even with people who don't have the app installed. I also love the ability to add a widget to my phone's home screen. I used that a bunch of times at a conference last week.
