Great Customer Service

I have ordered twice & this last time I called & spoke with Chris (he) regarding a coffee maker. He took the time to walk out in the warehouse, take a picture, & email it to me for the question I had on it. What a company!!! Received my order(s) in great time & will order again. Thank You!!!

$130 shipping to return a $250 product

I purchased an enclosure for a mixer that only slightly reduced the noise. There was a note on the website order page for the product that indicated free shipping and returns. I ordered the enclosure thinking that if it did not work, I could return it. I missed the fine print on the offer which required me to sign up for something to get the free return.The enclosure was almost $250. It cost slightly over $130 to ship it back in the timeframe they insisted upon.I will never shop with them again.

MoccaMaster replacement spoons

We purchased two replacement coffee measuring spoons for our MoccaMaster coffee maker. The purchase price for two spoons was less than one on another major on-line site (even after factoring in taxes and shipping fees). The items were packaged carefully and arrived ahead of schedule. First time users, but we will definitely order again from J.L. Hufford for ourselves and Holiday gifts!

Terrible after sales service

Terrible after sales service - complete lack of interest in responding to issues, let alone looking after the customer. This is a small time espresso machine retailer who lacks the resources or ability to support the machines they sell online. AVOID!

Was looking for a Vitamix machine…

Was looking for a Vitamix machine during the holiday season. Spoke to rep via the chat. Reassured me everything would be okay and they were a trusted site since I didn't know much about the company. They had no problem answering my questions and I purchased my blender. Arrived on time, package was received in excellent condition, and saved an additional saving with this company. Definitely will recommend this company.

Ripoff

Bought a set of Mauviel cookware for my son. He received an identical set so I returned mine. I was charged a $350 restocking fee. In addition, I realized after the fact that J.L. Hufford's prices were inflated about $400. This company is a total ripoff. Find somewhere else to purchase Mauviel.

Big disappointment!

I did receive an email later on that day from Hufford telling me that they had not received my voice message? and asking how they could help. By then, I already contacted Jura directly which always comes through with flying colors.

Do not follow standard Amazon rules.

Ordered a knife sharpener from J.L. Hufford via Amazon Prime. Ordered in early July. Was due on July 6. Package lost in shipping. Asked for refund multiple times and they continue to drag their feet. This is outside of Amazon policy. Still not resolved with multiple emails. Could you please just give me my money back. I will order a knife sharpener from someone else.

$100 restocking fee for a defective item!?

We ordered a Richmond Tea Kettle that did not whistle. We tried everything to get it to work. As per instructions, we repackaged and returned immediately for a refund. The company sent a video of a tea kettle and insisted it works and charged us a $100 dollar "restocking" fee for an item that was defective. We tried to communicate our concerns respectfully and received rude responses. Be wary of this company standing by their products. I have never seen such poor customer service!

a trap! dont buy from there!

the experience buying from this place is beyond unsatisfactory. we made a mistake in purchasing the machine but it was too late to cancel as it has been shipped. we called their support and they said the shipment has been rerouted to go back to their shop. BUT the shipment still came and we had to pay for the shipping even though the box was unopened. when they got the package, it took them a good few days to acknowledge receipt and i had to sent couples of email to ask for refund. When we got the refund, they took 10% of the price (although they did not do anything) and on top i had to pay for $60 shipping. This shop is a trap and YOU SHOULD NOT BUY FROM THERE. they even said they normally charge for 20% restocking fee which is absurd. this shop does not live up to the American way of customer service . it is the worst service i have experienced so far. not helpful at all. they just want to keep the money with them. a trap!!!!
