I've been using the Eco Warrior bar shampoo's for a few months. I feel they're a bit overrated. Hair doesn't feel the best and needs a good conditioner afterwards. Not exactly cheap unless they're on offer. When they're down to a third of their original size, they tend to break up and splinter. I tried to fix that by heating the bits in a microwave and remoulding but not sure that works as the result tends to lather less. On the whole, not for me. A nice idea, less plastic waste etc but I'm afraid I've gone back to bottled, liquid shampoo. I tried to do my bit for the environment by embracing these products but sadly, didn't work for me.
Very happy so far with order Amazing products that score amazingly on yaku 99% of what I brought scored over 90% The only thing that flags up is certain allergies that may contain, but they obviously have allergy information on packet and it's not necessarily a serious energy. Strawberries are good for you but still lots of people are allergic to them and some people are allergic to natural things. But overall good quality ingredients. Good quality bars. Can't wait to use them. Even the hand soap scored 100% on yaku super fast delivery seems a really good little company
This is my second time buying from Little Soap Company. I was looking at trying out bar soap instead of the plastic bottle 5 in 1 shower gels and haven't gone back. I have found Little Soap Company to be decent with prices as I tend to buy in bulk if I can. I can only speak about their own brand bar soaps as I haven't tried any other products and the bar soaps last 2-3 weeks with one bar and has a nice smell that isn't overpowering and lathers up well so I have no complaints.Never had an issue with delivery. Overall, a good experience and I will keep buying from here.
I brought this product as it said it was cruelty free only to realise that it's made with palm oil, the fancy wording of sustainable palm oil does not change the fact that the rain forest is being destroyed and animals are losing their homes in order to produce this so-called sustainable product
I contacted the Little Soap Company after buying one of their soaps in person, and then subsequently finding on the website FAQs that they stated "Our factories also use walnut shell, apricot shell, hazelnut oil, almond oil, macadamia nut oil, shea butter and kukui nut oil. This means there is a possibility for trace elements to make their way into our products.".After emailing to ask why this wasn't on the box and that if it was I wouldn't have bought the product, instead of reasurring me and saying that this would be on the packaging from now on, they have amended the website and completely removed the above statement.I'm not sure if their factories policies have changed or something, but the fact that this was only changed after me emailing means I have lost all my trust in them and means that as someone who has to be very careful around allergens, I will be shopping elsewhere and I recommended anyone with allergies to do so as well. They need to be more careful with their allergy policies and be mindful that they need to state on the packaging and not just the website if a product could contain a major allergen.
i really didn't want to give a 1 star review but didnt have a good experience:1. great products +2. not a niche ''little' soap company, but actually mass producer :( -3. Awful delivery service (I had to call UPS 3 times myself to fix the problem!) -4. odorless product in smelly chemical card packaging - the irony! -5. too expensive -6. Poor customer service (no ownership of issues) -
I've recently tried to make my bathroom plastic-free, I'd tried a few brands before finding the Eco Warrior/Little Soap Company range on Amazon. After reading lots of positive reviews I decided to give them a try. I'm so glad I did because my hair has not been in such great condition for years! I'm so happy because after using other shampoo bars my hair felt sticky, unclean and made me want to give up looking for a planet friendly alternative. I then purchased everything in the Eco Warrior range and body wash from Little Soap Company and it's 10/10 for me. They're also such a reasonable price when compared to similar products.
So glad that Boots are stocking a wider range of their products - the Eco Warrior exfoliating bar and the shampoo bar are my favourites. Recommended. NB Please convince Sainsbury’s to stock you so I can order in my weekly delivery. I think I did once but then they delisted??
I purchased 3 x 250ml Little Soap Company Organic Bubble Baths (approx. £24) from Ocado and only one had the bubble bath. If I hadn’t bought 3 I would never have known as I hadn’t purchased this product before. I’ve no idea what the product was that I was supplied, if it was fake, harmful (e.g. might have burnt holes in my skin), or a quality issue.Disappointingly, the Little Soap Company have not taken the matter seriously or acted responsibly, even though it was the Little Soap Company that said 2 out of the 3 bottles were NOT bubble bath. The Little Soap Company have not recalled the batch and didn’t want the product returned to them so they could investigate what went wrong, if it was their quality issue, if the product is harmful, has been tampered with, or to mitigate any harm to humans or even harm to their organic brand. This batch is still on sale.I was supplied 3 replacement products but I won’t be using the Little Soap Company ever again because I can’t trust that what they sell is what it says on the label. What’s the point in spending a lot of money for a natural organic product when you’ve no idea if it actually is, and when the company simply doesn’t care what they have supplied you?
