Very rude staff at Hull Branch

Very rude staff at Hull Branch I ordered two medium vegan teriyaki boxes with tofu and sesame seeds (as paid extras), along with a bottle of water. When my meal arrived, I couldn’t see any tofu, so I returned to the counter to query this. A member of staff took my fork and proceeded to dig through my meal in search of the tofu, eventually finding just four small pieces at the bottom of the box. I found this disappointing given the £3 surcharge for the tofu.I then told my husband, who had ordered the same meal, that the tofu must be at the bottom — but as he continued eating, he found no tofu at all in his box. I also checked, and I could clearly see it was missing. I returned to the counter to show the staff member, who simply stated that the cook had confirmed it was included and implied we were being dishonest because the meal had been partly eaten.I explained that my husband had been eating in good faith, expecting to find the tofu lower down in the box, as I had. However, the staff refused to add any tofu or remake the meal, and instead offered a refund for the tofu only. While we accepted this, it was offered without any real apology or recognition of the poor service we received. The whole experience was uncomfortable and upsetting, and it completely ruined what should have been a quick meal

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND STAFF!

The servers were extremely rude. I walked in to order 30 minutes before closing, they didn’t have any fried rice available so I left, then all the staff behind the desk started cheering and laughing (quite obviously at me).The time before this, I ordered in store to take the food home but when I opened it at home, they had put carrots and spring onions in with my chicken fried rice even though I had requested no veg (as I always do because I hate veg). I had rang but no one was answering the phones.Overall my experiences with this establishment have been revolting and I will never order from here again.

Appalling customer service and food

Appalling customer service and food. Chester branch charged me twice due to their systems not working, promised to refund and never did despite contacting the branch directly, customer service and my bank raising a dispute. Worse was the strange dishwater taste and all beige food.

Dysfunctional.

The Liverpool Central branch is appauling. The staff never know what they are doing. I attended yesterday with my mum and the staff gave me someone else’s order. My mum had opened one of the boxes and the managed was like - That wasn’t your food, has she just opened that?? I said I’m sorry, we really didn’t know, it was handed to us… and she gave me a dirty look, which was just rude of her. Then I was told to take my slushies, I said they’re not mine. I ordered a Pepsi and a fanta. The manager was asking the staff who the fanta ice blasts belonged to, because she didn’t have a clue.A woman had also taken food back, saying she had been given the wrong size. The staff have no clue between the six of them. While we were eating we had to listen to the manager also arguing with one of her staff members. A previous time we went there, I had her sigh at me because I told her there was no vegan duck in my noodles as I had ordered. Then she slammed it down on the counter for me to take, with no apology. I let that slide, but her attitude stinks and after having a second serving of it, I’ve decided I’m not going to hold back. I won’t be going back there anymore. As much as I enjoy the food, it’s not worth having to deal with dysfunctional staff.

Freezing cold restaurant

Chester branch 7 degrees outside even colder inside! I don't know what the hell the staff think a welcoming environment is but the Chester branch certainly wasn't. It was so cold from the Arctic blast coming from the AC vents that I couldn't finish ordering I had to leave. They can't even argue the staff in the kitchen were hot because the "chef" had a hoody on!

Absolute Disgrace

We put an order in for deliveroo for £105 for all our staff at work, this was ordered at the HULL BRANCH we got all our order out and the CYO Egg noddle box was missing when we unpacked the order, i contact Wok and Go hull branch to advise that box was missing, the first thing the advisor said was we counted all the boxes and they was all there, no apology that a order this size and this cost wasn't complete, i advised to them i can assure them the CYO Egg noodles was not there, he then put my on the phone to another person, i explained we had just had it delivered and we was missing this, and he said we counted the order it was all there the deliveroo driver has taken it so we needed to take it up with them, i advised we had ordered from this company so it was down to them to rectify it and repeated to tell me that it was not them and they sent them all out, i asked to speak to a manager and the man said i am the manager so i said ok thats fine i will be taking it higher, he then said to the exact words " you can put a complaint in but it will come direct to me and i will reply with the same thing i have said to you" i then said thats fine i will take it higher to which he then said "i am the highest so all the complaints will come to me" at which point i again assured him there is alot higher then him, his tone was absolutely disgusting and awfully rude, i will not ever order from this company again and i definatley will not be going into store aswell, Absolute discgrace! all we wanted was the 1 order we was missing out of the 12 meals we had ordered and paid for to be re sent out to us. AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!

UXBRIDGE BRANCH STAY CLEAR

THE STAFF MEMBERS ARE RUDE.IT WAS 30MINS BEFORE CLOSING AND WE WALKED IN TO GET A QUICK TAKE AWAY ORDER AND THEY HAD PACKED EVERYTHING AWAY. WE ASKED TO ORDER AND THEY REPEATEDLY SAID THEY WERE CLOSED. WE SAW THE TIME AND THE OPENING TIMES NOWHERE SAID THEY SHOULD BE CLOSED. THEY THEN ALL PICKED UP THERE ITEMS AND WENT TO THE BACKTO HIDE AND IGNORE US UNTIL WE LEFT THE SHOP. THEY WERE RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL AND I WILL NEVER GO BACK, EVEN IF I WAS STARVING. ON A SEPARATE OCCASION THEY GAVE ME CHICKEN IN MY VEGAN ORDER!! IM DEFINITELY DONE WITH THE CHAIN BECAUSE UXBRIDGE BRANCH.

Contaminated food and complaint ignored

I was at the Midland Way Nottingham store at 8:47pm 17th August and ordered 2 Large Combo boxes. Whilst I was ordering the Male on shift was already cleaning down the cooking area with cleaning fluids and alot of water. Whilst I was waiting he was cleaning and the woman on shift was having to wait to start cooking which in turn meant I was waiting longer. During her cooking he was still cleaning around her, fluids and water everywhere and also wasn't very careful. I found this rude , ignorant and dangerous as the fluids were right next to where my food was being cooked not to mention there was over an hour until closing time which is when cleaning should commence. After tasting the food when I got back I had to throw away both boxes, something wasn't right and I believe it's because it was cooked in a pan that had cleaning fluid water within it. None of my wok and gos have ever tasted like this before. It wasn't right. I don't blame the cook, she looked uncomfortable around this worker whilst I was there and was cooking when he left the pan, not knowing he will come close again and carry on cleaning, not speaking speaking her and shoving her out the way. I would like the Male staff member to be reminded of when the correct time to clean is and that it IS NOT okay to clean around a cook which contaminated my food and taught how to behave and communicate around his colleagues and customers. I would also like my meal fully refunded as it was wasted, not to mention the cost in fuel.I made the above initial complaint on the 17th August via your complaints process and then chased it up after not hearing anything on 16th October via the same process, this is not acceptable!

80% of ingredients missing
