They put up a deadline for refunds, but didn’t tell us

We bought tickets for an event that was cancelled to days before because of weather circumstances. According to the organizer, Xceed should coordinate the refund the tickets. I claimed my refund via instagram of the organizer in the moment the event was canceled.However Xceed just sent a email announcing that the process of refund will start soon, but nothing ever reached me after that email. They have not responded in over 3 months as they obviously don't want to refund and are now stating that they sent an email with a deadline. This deadline for refund expired last week. Despite the fact that putting up a deadline for refunds is impossible according to EU consumer protection, how should I react to a deadline I never knew of?Still hope to see my money back, as the team is really not cooperating. Update: we both got our money back! Has been complicated…

Refund for cancelled event

Still an ongoing issue that I'm hoping can be solved...I bought tickets for an event that cancelled the main act on the day with no warning. According to Xceed's website, "Law obliges the organizer to return the money exclusively in the case that the event is canceled or if it suffers substantial changes, such as cancellation of an artist." However the organiser has not responded in over 2 months as they obviously don't want to refund. My friend bought the same tickets through Resident Advisor, and RA said that the organiser is also not responding to them, so gave a full refund. Why can't Xceed do the same? UPDATE: ticket has been refunded now thank you!
