There was a time with some problems, but in the past year, it has been quite stable for the two numbers I use. Currently in South America, it works excellently for calls and receiving SMS from my bank. When paired with a data package, it performs exceptionally well. In Europe, having a local SIM can provide an extra UK number and the necessary data for the app.

We haven’t subscribed yet but wanted to speak with someone about my queries. I left numerous messages and emails for over four days, but received no response. They claimed to answer emails within three minutes, but that hasn’t been the case. I would recommend looking elsewhere!

Completely ineffective! I wanted to speak to someone over the phone for more information, but calls ring and then drop. An email contact mentioned I would receive a call from their team, but over a week has passed with no follow-up. I wouldn’t recommend this service.
I discovered this recently, and it has significantly improved my online banking and security. It offers a UK mobile number usable from anywhere with a data connection. The monthly cost is reasonable, and using the app, I can call UK numbers at no extra cost. I can also receive OTP SMS messages through the app. Signing up was straightforward, with a trial period longer than stated. Email communication has been very responsive. I only wish I had found this earlier.

Unlike other platforms like WhatsApp or FaceTime, this service lacked clarity. Customer service was lacking as well. Even with fast 5G or Wi-Fi, it didn’t perform well. I wouldn’t recommend it. Texting often got stuck, requiring me to restart the app. While it was convenient to have a texting service, I will be searching for another option. I used this for six months; calls were sometimes functional but not reliable enough for work.
Xpatfone is a branded version of another service, and you can find many positive reviews if you look it up. The package for a reasonable price is attractive, and it still uses the same app and support. I ported my number and used a pay-as-you-go SIM, saving money. The call quality is impressive. Great product!
