Review Time
I had high hopes for Yodeck, but unfortunately the player has not been dependable for our business. We purchased a full-year subscription in early January, and since installation the device has repeatedly frozen, gone offline, and stopped syncing content.
We contacted support multiple times and attempted troubleshooting, but the issues continued and the system never operated as described. For a business that relies on consistent digital signage, reliability is critical, and this product did not meet that expectation.
To make matters more frustrating, after requesting a refund due to the ongoing failures, the company has refused to issue one despite the product not functioning properly.
Based on our experience, I cannot recommend it if you need a stable, set-and-forget solution.
We had a monitor hanging in our old building ,with no information on it any more because of a Raspberry Pi that broke down and manually updates etc. More effort than we wanted. After some research we came accross YoDeck. After two years, we host 3 screens in total with YoDeck. It is a user friendly application to show relevant information. We can schedule each monitor and make it easy to shut down the monitors as well for energy saving consumptions. We are still hoping for some extra features like creating a floor plan to show which room is available based on meetings and caching between screens. (if a video is in place or an animation, it keeps pulling the data everytime resulting in a delay of information shown).

We've been using Yodeck for several years now. The ability to update my screens individually or all together from in-house or remotely is amazing! No more boards written in poor handwriting or improper descriptions because I'm not there, specials automatically change based on a schedule that I set. It has upped our in-house advertising to the next level. My only wish is that you could have some boards that are on annual plans while other boards could be on monthly plans (we have an outdoor seasonal area).
I've been a YoDeck user for several years now. Their product has always been a great value for the money, and they've done a great job adding features and better processes over the years. I used to be frustrated by the slow ordering process; however for my most recent order, they showed me a brand new invoicing system they've put in place, and it's the fastest I've been able to complete an order. I already love the company, and it's awesome to see them getting better and better.
