These are good value solidly made earthenware teapots but they lack a strainer at the base of the spout. As a result one has to be careful swilling the pot when warming or the water will shoot from the spout. Similarly, when full, one has to move the pot steadily to avoid spillage. Had the company stated that the pots are packed in threes, I would have purchased six instead of five, making the shipping more convenient. A description of 'earthenware' rather than 'ceramic' would have been more accurate.Sales service is good except they do not email an invoice, obliging the customer to log in and down load. The invoice, once obtained, did not show the company name (YTC Limited) or the registered number (3768619). Presumably this aspect of compliance was delegated to a non-executive.
Ordered online 3rd Feb for collection from a local store in 3-4 days. The payment left my PayPal account on 6th Feb. It is now 14th Feb and I am still waiting for an email from the store to say I can collect it despite being told via email from the website that the item has arrived at the store. My email expressing my unhappiness with this has gone unanswered. I will not be buying from their website again.
