Daye's new hormone test is a complete game-changer! I've been putting off hormone testing for ages because I hate finger prick tests, but Daye's new technology is fantastic. Instead of the usual painful finger stabbing, they use this innovative upper arm device that's similar to a continuous glucose monitor - it just sticks on your arm and collects the blood sample, and it's completely pain-free! The whole process was so simple. The device came with really clear instructions, and I had my sample collected in minutes from the comfort of my own home. No booking GP appointments, no sitting in waiting rooms and no wincing through multiple finger pricks hoping I got enough blood. I received my results within days, along with a comprehensive report that explained what everything meant and how the different hormones interact.Worth every penny for the insights and the completely stress-free experience!
Really wanted to love this brand as I'm trying to be mindful of the products that I put in and on my body. I selected the heavy flow subscription which provides 24 Super pads, 12 CBD and 12 Nude tampons – which is supposed to last 3 months. Packaging arrived promptly although was in a thin paper envelope which had ripped (obviously) and my box was dented. Seeing as the delivery is a flat box of intimate products, delivery should be in a padded envelope at the very least so that the package arrives intact. The Daye packaging looks lovely however it seems to be a case of style over substance. First the Super pads are DEFINITELY not suitable for a heavy flow. They are VERY thin - they look like long panty liners. I normally have to wear a tampon and pad for the first two days anyway which gives me 2-3 hours with no leaks. An hour hadn't even passed before I started leaking. Fortunately I was at home so my shame was spared so I resigned myself to the fact that I'd be changing hourly. Luckily I wear a period pant at night so I didn't have to wake up every hour, if I had used one of the Super pads my bed would have looked like a murder crime scene this morning. The technology of the pad isn't there yet – as the blood just sits on top and it fills up very quickly - the fact that there is only one layer gives particularly icky feeling. Also I noticed that the fibres give way and rub off on you. I'm only on day Two and I've got 14 pads left (out of 24) which won't last the rest of this cycle let alone 3. I haven't tried the tampons yet but seeing as the super pads were so inefficient I don't hold much hope. I was happy to splurge (let's be honest £19.99 for items that will only last 1 cycle isn't cheap. It's more than three times what I was spending before which wouldn't be any issue if it worked ) - their ethos sounds great and the products are natural – but that's pointless if it doesn't do what it claims (working for a heavy flow in this case). Gutted because I had to do an emergency run to the supermarket this morning for high street super pads as I have to go out today and don't want to risk leakage or having to find a toilet every hour to change. From the reviews the brand is more suited to women who experience light to "normal" flows. Have cancelled my subscription and the hunt continues. If you have heavy flow like me save your coins and try another brand ☹️
I first discovered Daye through their tampons back in 2019, and they’ve been a staple for me ever since. Daye really feels revolutionary in how they approach vaginal and gynae health, and it’s amazing to see a brand putting women’s wellbeing at the centre of everything.
A great product my daughter has been using them for a few years and lives them, but they don't fit through our letter box, sadly the delivery person threw the box over our back garden fence and it got soaked so all the products were ruined. My advice to people is to have an alternative if delivery through the door is not available. 3 months worth of product in the bin.
