WILL NEVER BUY A ZIPPO AGAIN!! Yankee Candle electronic candle lighter broke 6 mths after purchase with little use. Customer service was very helpful in saying they would send a replacement out to me... however, it has been 3 months and 3 failed shipping attempts to send replacement! The first 2 were sent USPS without tracking, so who knows where they are. The 3rd was supposed to be sent UPS so there was tracking, but over a week later it still hadn't arrived. I had to call twice to discover that one had also been sent USPS! They are now sending a FOURTH (4th) replacement USP... hopefully. Last representative was very rude and spoke down to me when I expresses frustration over the situation!! I asked her 3 times to escalate and she refused! She then said they would ship another UPS. I asked her to call me with the tracking number once that was created. I doubt I will hear from her of EVER get a replacement lighter.

There are tons of reviews about Zippo. People complain about the hinge, the cap doesn’t fit very tightly, the quality and so on. When you buy a zippo online, you might just be buying a copy of Zippo. You won’t get the quality with a knockoff. If you want a Zippo, go to the Zippo website and buy your Zippo. I placed a call to them with a question, and yes it a day or two to get a return call, but they did follow up. She also explained that they are in the process of improving customer service and that they know that they’re behind. I had a Zippo when I was in the military many years ago, and the Zippo I purchased just a week ago is just as reliable and robust! Buy your Zippo from their website, you’re not paying more and you will get a genuine Zippo with the “lifetime warranty” Enjoy!!!
