Terrible experience with the service

We used the platform to book a ride from a location in Sydney, entering three destinations: Drummoyne, Gladesville, and Ryde. When the driver arrived, he immediately claimed that the meter was malfunctioning and insisted on cash payment. He forced us to cancel the app booking and demanded $78 in cash, which we reluctantly agreed to. As we neared Gladesville, he began to complain about the fare, calling it 'bullshit' and claiming it was too low for the trip, especially with the traffic. Upon reaching Ryde, he took $100 in cash but refused to return my $22 change, insisting that it was a fair price.

Disappointing Experience with Cab Booking

I called a local cab service at 11:49 AM to arrange a ride to the city for shopping as a tourist. After multiple calls and assurances, no one arrived! In the sweltering 40-degree heat, by well after 2 PM—2.5 hours later—STILL NO CAB! I eventually gave up! I will NEVER use this service again!

Tip - If you want to avoid the frustrating automated system on the standard line, just keep saying 'representative' repeatedly - After about 20 minutes, you might reach a human. Unfortunately, they are not helpful at all. I've had the same experience as many others. I mistakenly pre-booked a taxi with this disappointing service. I provided 24 hours' notice, but nothing arrived. When I finally called, they promised a taxi in 5-10 minutes - but nothing came. They are quick to take your money, though, and I was lucky to get a refund eventually. That seems to be their only responsibility. They are bound to go out of business soon.

BEWARE OF REVIEWS - PRE-BOOKINGS DO NOT ARRIVE. Tip - To avoid the frustrating automated response, keep saying 'operator' until you reach a human after about 20 minutes. However, they are of little help. I mistakenly pre-booked a ride with this disappointing service. I provided 24 hours' notice, and no one showed up. I eventually called, and they assured me a taxi would arrive in 5-10 minutes - but nothing came. They are quick to take your money, but thankfully I got a refund eventually. It's literally their only responsibility. They'll likely go out of business soon.

Dishonest Practices

They scam you, thieves and deceivers! In Adelaide, yet again, the driver didn’t turn on the meter, I didn’t realize, and he fabricated an outrageous fare, threatening to take me back if I didn't pay. This is ILLEGAL! This is the fourth incident! You are nothing but criminals; authorities need to investigate these taxis in Adelaide. They should be shut down, DO NOT use these taxis. Low-life scammers. Thank goodness for alternative services!

Consistently Poor Experience

Consistently a bad experience. This time, the taxi reeked of sweat. The fare was excessively high, far exceeding any alternative service, even during surge pricing. I mistakenly thought the taxi would be cheaper despite the surge. It wasn’t. Lesson learned. I don't trust the metering anymore. This has happened before, and I promised myself never to take a taxi again. Unfortunately, I made that mistake. Never again.

Avoid This Service

I reserved a larger taxi online for a dinner outing with friends. The booking was confirmed, and I received a reference number. After waiting 10 minutes beyond the scheduled time, I tried to reach them for updates. It was frustrating to get in touch with an actual person! When I finally did, they told me that despite my confirmation, they didn’t service the area! This caused us to be late for our dinner reservation. I can't comprehend how a system can accept a booking and payment details but fail to provide the service. Extremely frustrating.

Booking Disaster

Imagine reserving a taxi for a special birthday celebration (Sunday, November 9) at 11:30 am, after guests arrived from afar. I had written confirmation and even confirmed over the phone, yet they didn’t show up! When I called at 11:30 am, they told me no taxis were available. There was no communication, no apology - the worst service imaginable.

Reasons for Choosing Alternatives

I ordered a larger taxi through their automated service, which initially worked fine! I received a message that the driver was on the way, then nothing for 15 minutes... I finally managed to cancel through their frustrating automated system but was late for an event. If taxi drivers want to know why people prefer alternatives, this is the reason. I've deleted the app and won't use a taxi again!

Unfriendly Driver Experience

This was undoubtedly the least friendly taxi driver I’ve encountered! He didn’t greet me, offered no assistance with luggage, and carelessly tossed the money on the floor. Disappointing.
