Review Time
As a landlord we have 3 Landlord - My Heating policies. Over the last 3 weeks they have failed to undertake 2 of our properties Annual Boiler services & Gas Safety Tests.
Each of the properties took 3 attempts with two last previous last minute cancellations before the work was finally completed - so 6 appointments in total.
They frequently used contact numbers that were not appropriate. Their comms expressed the cancellations were due to due to high demand for emergency repairs.
It is very clear that they have insufficient engineers of their own to conduct the predictable rise in emergency repairs during winter months, which is demonstrated by their heavy reliance on subcontractors, who themselves have been responsible for cancelling some of our appointments.
I then find that their policy T&Cs prevent me from claiming any amount whatsoever for all the wasted time in booking days off work, in sitting in waiting for their engineers who cancel at the last minute, in calling to rearrange cancelled appointments and raising our not unsurprising complaints.
Daylight robbery and extraordinarily sub-standard service.
My strong advice - Pay a little more and get the service you deserve and expect from another more reliable and competent supplier.
Very quick response from sending an email to getting repair fixed.
I sent an email at 11.30am for someone to contact me regarding a problem with my boiler.
I asked to be contacted after 6pm as I was in work.
I got a phone call after 6pm that night , paid excess money and had an appointment for the next day.
First thing next morning the engineer phoned and said he would be at mine in 20-25 minutes, which he was.
Charlie arrived and was very polite, friendly and professional.
He checked the boiler , located the fault, went away for a part , came back and fixed it , all in the space of about an hour and a half.
Five stars in all areas .

As part of boiler cover a service was booked the guy never got any tools out or done anything to it just reported back to company that i need a new boiler then got bombarded with telephone calls to buy a new boiler while in actual fact a part was replaced by other for £40 and boiler good for years to come !!!!!Avoid at all cost!!!!!
Quick and easy to set up with good cover and at less than 20% of what I was paying previously. I hope I never need to test the claim service, but given the quick and helpful response to my one query, I am hopeful it will be as good as my first impression has been.
Avoid at all cost. I paid £349 for a one price repair offer.
A engineer came and told me the pump needs replacing.
I was later phoned by 247 telling me that the pump would cost more than the cover, then offered me a new boiler For £3k plus
But they have told me they will refund my money which will take 10 working days.
I now have no heating, no hot water and no money.
No heating, no hot water... emergency call to be told to pay £95 excess and soonest appointment is in 11 days. And this is after their questionnaire if you have minor and elderly people living with you (which i do). Then told they would try to find something sooner and would call back that day with an update. Called back at 4.55 to tell me no update and would call the next day. Called them first thing this morning after a freezing night, to be told no update and would call me at some point today. Gave up as can't have no heating with kids and my elderly mother, so Called to cancel and request a refund of the excess. Was told refund would take 7-10 working day.... amazing that they take the payment instantly, but still takes 7-10 days to refund (which would still be before their engineer comes to visit!) They then ask you to complete a survey with 1 being bad and 5 being good, but you when you press 1# (for bad) it says it doesn't understand, so there is no way to leave bad feedback. But saying that, their customer service handlers were polite. I did mention that the number of 1* reviews this year seems very high and not sure what they have changed but something clearly isn't working!
Being a new customer I can only review the conversation that I had in setting up my new Policy which was faultless. The agent explained everything in great detail and the offered Price for my home cover was excellent.
