On Thursday, December 4, 2025, I attended the LAST day of the MACKAGE Sample Sale. The plan was to purchase TWO winter coats, as I’ve done so annually for the past 7 years. I registered to attend this event several days prior and descended all the way from Brooklyn, NY to The Met Pavillion in 30-dg weather. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the coat-check staff that "Apple Pay and cash were NOT acceptable forms of payment(s)." Despite this being a very CRITICAL detail for shoppers, no formal announcement was made nor ANY prior notice was given in any of the 100 emails that 260 Sample Sale circulated.
To obtain further clarification, I attempted to consult with manager, "John," but he seemed visibly annoyed that I was even seeking to confer with him. Despite my pleading with him, John was curt, seemed to care less, and didn’t even offer me a one-time exception to their “NEW” payment policy! I will NO longer be attending ANY of the 260 Sample Sales!!!!
On December 4, 2025, I attended the final day of a sample sale. I intended to buy two winter coats, as I have for the past seven years. I registered ahead of time and traveled from Brooklyn to the venue in freezing weather. However, upon arrival, I was informed by the staff that "Apple Pay and cash were NOT acceptable payment methods." This crucial detail was never announced, nor was it mentioned in any of the numerous emails sent. I tried to speak with a manager for clarification, but he appeared annoyed and unhelpful. Despite my attempts to explain my situation, he was dismissive and did not offer any exceptions to their new policy. I will no longer attend any future sales!
I visited the store and found the staff to be very condescending. One representative spoke to customers in a disrespectful manner, telling us we couldn’t bring in our baby’s stroller and not to put my baby down. The atmosphere was unwelcoming and the store itself looked disorganized.
I would give zero stars if possible. I placed an order for an expensive item and received confirmation, but the tracking link was broken and provided no details. After emailing multiple times, I received no response or assistance. I am very disappointed, especially since the item was a winter coat for my son right before Christmas. I advise against purchasing from this company.
I have ordered multiple times online without any issues. On my latest order, I mistakenly entered the wrong address. I contacted customer support, and they resolved my issue quickly and transparently. I received updates via email throughout the process—thank you!
I was a loyal customer until I bought a bathing suit that became defective after just six uses. I provided photos and requested a replacement or refund, but they refused to assist. I ended up paying for a defective item. I also contacted the brand directly, but they took no responsibility. I will not purchase from either again.
Visiting the physical store is usually fine, but be wary of online orders. I had a terrible experience where they sent the wrong items three times, and one item was missing. Instead of resolving the issue promptly, they made me return the wrong items first. This never led to a resolution, and I had to file a chargeback to reclaim my money.
I never received my items and had to send numerous emails back and forth about incorrect shipping information. Eventually, they stopped responding altogether. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. While I had no issues at the physical stores, the online prices are always higher. I previously had good experiences until a recent $200 purchase. Very disappointing.
