I did not like the fact that when I asked u all if u could cancel the payments of $84.00 from my card because I was now paying $168,00 for the next four months,You people did not even respond back to my emailAll you all care about is the money and not helping the people when they write to you all.That is disrespectful and rude as far as I am concerned,
This has been a complete nightmare. I would advise you to not use this company. If we actually wind up divorced after this debacle, I'll consider changing my review, but this has been the WORST experience. I've shed tears over this because we've now paid these people $1000, and have been trying to use them for over 4 months now, and our paperwork still hasn't been filed. Going through a divorce is already one of the hardest things someone can go through, and this place makes it SO much worse. You can't get a response from anyone, the information you DO get conflicts, they lose your paperwork.. ugh, it's so awful. I'm wondering now if we just need to give up and use some place else, but I feel like we've invested so much time and money into this company. I truly don't know what to do at this point. I'm so utterly disappointed, disillusioned, and helpless. I'm so disappointed in myself too, that I picked this place out of all the ones available. What a freaking nightmare. Please save your money and use literally anyone else. I'm beginning to think this isn't even a legit operation. The latest is they say they don't have three of the documents that we sent them over a month ago, signed and notarized.... They literally sent my husband copies of the three documents they say they are missing, as a copy for his own file, signed, notarized, and completed!! Did they leave them in the copy machine and now they are lost?? Where did they go? They clearly had the documents if they could send my husband copies of them. What a complete sham. At this point, my husband thinks it's malicious, but I can't imagine anyone would want to intentionally hurt people in this way. I can only assume it's ineptitude or just sheer lack of care or good business practice. Regardless of the motive behind it, it's truly been a horrid experience. I've only left one bad review in my entire life, but I just want to save even one person from having the same experience that we've had. And I should add, our divorce is literally about as easy as it can get - we don't have children, we have agreed to everything, we double and triple checked every document before sending... I just don't understand why they won't help us. Also, the number and email address that they put below the negative reviews is the phone number and email they don’t answer or return calls from so that’s useless. If you actually care, reach out to me and fix this. Please do the right thing. You are hurting people more during one of the hardest times of their lives.
This has been the worst experience! I paid the fee, filled the forms out, had them notarized and went on my way to the courthouse to file my papers! Everything should have been great right? Except when I got there, they went thru all the forms, and told me they were useless and asked where I had gotten them. I then reached out to customers service requesting a refund due to the court rejecting the forms based on that they used none of them on 2/16And my credit card gets hit 2 more times! once on 2/17, a day after I requested a refund and again today! No refund. And ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE EITHER!
Did not have the correct paperwork for my county. Error when trying to download the PDF (had to instead download the editable copy). Did not respond to emails for help. Could not use them to file because it was the wrong county in my state. They have not replied to any of my messages.
We have been waiting on 3StepDivorce for MONTHS. They advertise a quick and easy process, but are completely unresponsive. We completed everything on our end, they said they would process our forms and send us the next steps shortly after, we haven't heard from them in more than 3 months. We have called and emailed countless times and they have not responded to a single message. The raving reviews are nothing like our experience with 3StepDivorce and we are starting to wonder if we have been scammed.Update- It is now 1 week later, they responded to our email and said we should receive a tracking number for our documents, nothing yet.
It’s starting to feel scammy. I wish we read the reviews before paying the fees. We paid for the upgrade to have them file it for us. We completed everything and it was not clear what the next steps were. I called customer service and it seems like it’s always the same person picking up, she’s always impatient or annoyed. Then we emailed and they did say we will be getting a welcome package and DocuSign but it’s been a while now.
Mar 30 - Update (7 weeks later): I have completed which I believe all paperwork needed which included marital settlement agreement and decree. 3StepDivorce received this signed paperwork from me on Mar 23rd but still have not filed with courts. I have been emailing to see when they will file this with courts with no response! I was told I still have another packet to be sent to me but when I asked what’s in this packet because I believe I have submitted all signed paperwork the response was “I do not know”. Feb 9th - I did finally receive a response to let me know my forms were turned into the courts on Jan 25th. But I asked several questions on my email and that’s the only response I received. I would also like to know how long does it take for the courts to actually file the petition? Estimated time frame. It has been 2 weeks since submitted and I have not received any updates. I do not know what actions/steps if any I should be taking. I have no case number or confirmation other than me just being told papers turned in. Or do I just wait the 60 days and hope its being taken care of???Jan 30th Currently Im rating one star. I sent my completed paperwork mid November which I understand can be busy time of year to file. I paid the extra fee to have 3stepdivorce file for me. I turned in all paperwork and also had to resend paperwork due to missing a signature. I have sent 5 emails and left voicemail to check status on when my paperwork will be filed. It has been over 2 wks since and Im unable to get a response. I feel I have had patience during this stressful time. But it has now been 3.5 months since original paper sent and my divorce still not filed with court.
