Thrilling

A great experience from start to finish.. thank you to our driver Joey who was very friendly, informative and made our experience even better.The helicopter ride across vegas at night was thrilling ..all staff were professional and we had the chance to purchase a wonderful photo as a momento....would highly recommend.

Life long memories

Life long memories. One of the best experiences ever. Great organisation and communication from the start. Coach bang on time, and took off in the heli on time too. Our pilot Mike (mad-dog) was honestly incredible. So knowledgeable, funny, and just a complete all round legend. Music, commentary throughout the experience was just amazing. He even gave us a (mad dog) mini extended tour cus “the vibes were good”. Above and beyond to make it special for us, hero. If you come to vegas you have to do this tour via chopper. 6 stars!

Would give zero stars. Where made aware of a restriction that had not been disclosed at an earlier time, no refunds. Said they would see if they could do something. Said for and hour and a half before finally leaving.

Awesome flight

I booked online with my nickname that I’ve used since birth. This is the first time to fly in a helicopter. Emmy was the young lady that I first met at the counter. I gave her my license and she practically scolded me for having booked under my nickname. She actually let out a sigh. No eye contact at all. She sarcastically said, “well this is an airport and you have to book under a your real name”. First impression was horrible but I was glad things changed with Graig the gentleman that gave us safety instructions and also Jack, the awesome pilot. Emmy, I’m sorry to write this about you, but you are one of the first people we meet.Give eye contact and smile. Remember customers pay for a great experience and are excited. Today was a special day because I brought my spouse for his birthday. We all have bad days or work week. I did this week too and this flight was a to enjoy ourselves. People travel from around the world to have fun in Vegas and spend good money. Good customer service can also affect tip amounts. Everyone else that I talked to there actually smiled, told not only us but everyone there, to enjoy and have fun. Emmy, never hyped up the company you are working for. “Welcome to 5 Star, are you ready for a great time?”This would have been a great start to a much anticipated fun evening for us. Instead Emmy treated us like we were a bother to her. I was really debating to just leave and forget about what I paid for flight but because it was a birthday gift to my spouse from me, I couldn’t. I hope you understand why I felt this way. I will most definitely book another flight and maybe next time Emmy will have a better night and I will remember to book under my birth name.

Is not like advertised!

I booked through Viator. First of all the print is not specific to what the experience is like. I feel I was fooled and it was falsed advertisement. I chose to eat at Pampa’s and the reservation was not to be found so we had to be rejected initially from the restaurant. They had to call the 5 Star Helicopter Tours to make it happen, what an embarassment. While I was waiting for 50 minutes after our 6pm reservation, I receive a text message about getting picked up at 7pm even them knowing that our dinner reservation was at 6pm. Apparently they made ANOTHER mistake. Then after waiting so long to get in and rushing to eat, the bill was up to pay 18% of the bill from the actual amount that is dinner which is over $150.00. This is not specified on the print of the add in the offer. After we rushed to eat we did not know Las Vegas so the text with the meeting point was inaccurate and impossible to understand. All this not even digesting the food, running, stressing and with no time, the meet up was at 7:45pm. The vehicle was a transit van that made 4 other stops to pick up other people at hotels. This is not a private ride be AWARE. The driver was rude and very bad making stops at the red light and doing turns. I felt my life was in jeopardy how these people drived. When we arrived at the 5 star Helicopter Tours place the lady Brenda ask us about dinner and apparently she did not liked my answer and me of course since she placed me on the 6th spot on a line for the ride and that is specifically when you see nothing of the promoted view on the add. She also called us last even that we arrived earlier than other people, making an excuse that they have to balance weight. I was soo dissapointed from the experience, the part of the right back side from the pilot you see NOTHING but normal buildings that you see when you lift off or land from an airplane flight. Something to consider is being jammed with strangers like inside a can of sausages. This is not a private flight. It is you and 5 other people inside a very small space. It was horrible. I completely disliked that we were not even offered the $25 picture from the experience by Brenda. She was completely unprofessional and treated one like this was for free. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this experience. Find another company and save yourself from dissapointment.

Helicopter Ride over West Rim of Grand Canyon

This is a must do activity while in Las Vagas. Our pilot, Stephanie, was awesome and gave alot of information. Very good running commentary and background of the land you are flying over. Excellent service from all, especially Stephanie!

What a magnificent experience

What a magnificent experience! We flew to, over and into the Grand Canyon, over hoover dam and the desert, then went on an easy 3 hour kayak trip up the Colorado River near Boulder City. Our pilot Mike was funny, informative and entertaining. A brief and very rare thunder storm was entertaining and washed the dust away so we could clearly see the colors in all the stone in the Canyon. After the magnificent views from above on our flight, the views from the kayaks in the bottom of the Black Rock Canyon were different but also amazing! The water was refreshing and nice and clear. We stopped for a swim and many of us just jumped in fully dressed for a reprieve from the 38*C heat. Griff was put kayak guide and we can't wait to come back and do the 6 hour float from the base of the Hoover Dam, down river. What an awe inspiring trip. Worth every penny of the $600 price tag for these unique experiences!

Just be aware that they can just cancel your selected flight if they wish and staff won't be sorry a

Ruined the last night Vegas experience from that lady on August 31st night shift. Just be aware that this company can just change your selected flight whenever they feel like they won't have enough passenger. No, they won't prioritize you for an earlier flight. And No staff won't have professionalism that they are sorry about the amended trip.I made the booking with Viator unfortunately this company amended our flight from 11:45 PM to 11:15 — check in at 10:45 PM and the lady was not even sharing professionalism and be sorry how unfair for them to offer an OPTION to their customer the time the flight we originally set BUT they would just CANCEL it just because they don't have ENOUGH PASSENGER? Viator asked me if I agree with the booking time change, and I was like, is that even an option? If I disagree, will I still have the flight.Given the unfairness to their customer, I called them that I was at the stoplight to their parking lot to let the old lady know that I can make it to 11:15 PM flight, however she said that I better make it not to be the last two passenger or you'll be left out. With that acknowledgment from me, it would have been more accepting if they prioritize the canceled flight passengers given the situation where we arrived and the shuttle was still there. But no, the last was not sorry and because of frustration and the toned & attitude she gave me when I called her that I was on my way, she even said that we refused the service and won't give me a confirmation for the refund because we book it only from Viator. Check it at 10:45. Called them at 10:47 to update her, arrived there at 11:00 and the shuttle was still there, yet no priority and "sorry." And she even hang up the phone when I was updating her that I was outside.Horrible. Just because your employee is old 5 Star Helicopter, doesn't mean she earned seniority when she gave us unprofessionalism and attitude. She was not even sorry for the inconvenience of time change, for the money that we booked from Lyft to go there, not at all. I work in a customer service like most people and I never treated the customer the way she treated me even though it's on company's fault for not committing to the booked flight that customers chose. I was just looking forward for it because birthday will be on the 1st of September on that midnight flight and she didn't even say "sorry, we canceled your flight."
