I ordered a thermal imaging device as a gift for my husband. I selected it from the official site, where the specifications and sample images helped us understand what we were purchasing. The package arrived about a week later, securely packed, including a strap, charger, and a brief manual. My husband set it up and had me test it in the backyard: the casing feels robust, buttons respond well, and both animals and people are clearly visible in thermal and fusion modes. The menu seemed a bit overwhelming initially, but after saving a couple of profiles, we now effortlessly use the same device without worrying about the settings 🙂
I am incredibly disappointed with this purchase. I bought two scopes for nearly $4k. One was fine, but the other had a defect from the beginning, showing a shadow image that obstructed visibility. I attempted to return it for a replacement, but the platform denied my request, forcing me to send it back for repairs. Unfortunately, it was deemed irreparable, and they replaced it with a V2 model since the version I bought was discontinued. While I would have accepted that normally, I wanted them to match. I expressed my concerns, but their only solution was to charge me an additional $800 plus tax to upgrade the other scope, which was equivalent to buying two new V2 scopes. They also suggested exchanging for a used model but claimed they had none available and would require me to send back the V2 and wait indefinitely for the used one. I believe they should have informed me that they were selling a discontinued product upfront and either provided a matching replacement, refunded my money, or upgraded both scopes. Due to their defect, I never received the matching scopes I intended to buy, and the support team has refused to make any reasonable effort to resolve the situation.
I orderd a simple IR iluminator too boost the preformance of my existin NV binoculars. The order process was smooth, but I'm deducting one star for shipping speed, which was a little slow for a small item. I orderd on a Tues day and it arived the folloing Thursday, October 10th (8 calender days).The packaging was adequate—a small, padded envelope inside a larger, plain brown box. No excessive waste, which is a plus. The illuminator its self is solid metal, well-built, and performs exactly as advertised, throwing a powerful beam out to about 250 yards. It's a great piece of gear, especially for the price.This was my first order with AGM, and while shipping could be faster, the quality of the product is undeniable. Ill defintely order a full thermal unit from them next year. Good value for da money.
We are a specialized unit, and we require gear that won't fail when the stakes are highest. Following advice from colleagues, we decided to test their Rattler series thermal clip-on scope (TH-35). It has been fantastic.A key factor is the zero reticle shift when mounting it onto a day optic. This saved us critical time in field conditions. The image quality at distances up to 800 yards allows for clear target identification. I especially want to commend their support: we had a question regarding a firmware update, and an AGM technical specialist answered the phone within 15 minutes, helping us resolve the issue remotely. 100% recommended for professional use.
I purchased the Digital Night Vision Monocular PVS-14 for night hunting. The optics themselves and the light amplification quality are an unquestionable 5 stars; I can clearly see details at 150 yards even on a moonless night. This is serious equipment, and it's worth the price.However, I'm taking one star off for the initial setup process. The manual was a bit confusing, especially the section on IR illuminator calibration. It took me nearly two hours and some forum help to figure out all the menus and recording modes. If it weren't for that small hitch, it would be perfect. Overall, once the device is configured, it operates flawlessly.
I kinda bought it without planning… just saw it and clicked around. The checkout part was a bit messy, had to refresh once. Took around 8 days to come, the tape on the box was half open already but nothing missing. My husband said it’s solid. I don’t really get these things but he was happy, so fine by me.
Ordered the AGM PVS-14 NW1 about two weeks ago as a surprise for my dad. The checkout was a bit confusing at first (the shipping options didn’t load right away), but after that everything went smooth. Got an email update the same evening and the package came earlier than I thought. The monocular looks tough and not heavy at all. My dad tried it last weekend on a short trip, and he was actually shocked how clear it was even without full moon light. Only thing, I wish they added a small carrying bag in the box. But overall, totally worth it.
I purchased the AGM CO22-IR Kit a couple of weeks ago to help my night-time wildlife spotting. It comes with the long range IR illuminator, battery, charger and all the mounts so that was convenient. Installation was very straightforward, and I was surprised at how little it adds to the total weight on my scope. Its infrared beam is powerful enough to detect motion at a significant distance, but still invisible to the human eye. The only small thing which I would like to change would be if the manual could explain some settings a little better. On the whole it’s been really useful, and I’ve enjoyed having it on my evening walks.
Got the AGM Asp-Micro TM160 for my husband’s birthday - he’s into hunting out here in upstate NY. He’s already taken it a couple of times and says it works well, image is clear even in the dark. Feels light and comfortable in hand, he didn’t complain about holding it for a while. The manual is kind of confusing, he had to figure some stuff out himself. Oh, and the shop was good too - shipping was fast, everything came just fine. Overall, both of us happy with it.
