The pre-service communication the day before was excellent. The greeting on the day and the environment (coffee, seating and relaxed atmosphere) made the two-hour wait on site pass very quickly. I was first informed how the service would proceed, the cost and what follow-up would be needed if required. I then received a video on my smart phone after the service was complete highlighting all the areas examined. The final feedback was a written form produced by the engineer covering all the details of the service and what issues I might keep an eye on in future. Overall, a thoroughly my professional experience.

Everything was handled quickly and smoothly, and the quality of the service was absolutely flawless. I have no issues with the way I was looked after which, as always, was professional, courteous supportive and friendly. My main issue was that my car (bought in May 25, now only 6k miles) did not restart after I inflated the types. It had to be recovered and was with Bavarian BMW for over a week. Apparently, the computer systems used to examine the car reported numerous faults. This resulted in the car's software having to be rebuilt, with the support by BMW Technical. With a background in Electronics/Computer Engineering this gives me concern that this may be a BMW design fault which I fear may reoccur i.e. too much reliance on software that needs to be updated over the air, at regular intervals. Hopefully, this will not prove to be the case.
I took an appointment where you wait until the service is complete. I wasn't offered a coffee or tea once in the 3 hours. When the van was finished, it wasn't hoovered out or hosed down as happened at all other dealerships I have used in the past. Fairly poor customer service.
