I really don't recommend using this company. I made a trip to china and Thailand and ordered eSIM cards for both countries. The app was showing the that the SIM cards were working and consuming data until I get back to my country and receive a bill of more than 130 euros. Trying to solve the issue on the website customer support, I spoke to a robot for several minutes until some real person starts talking to me and suddenly ghosted me. I couldn’t even get back the money I paid for the eSIMs that didn’t work.
Airalo barely works. Please avoid. When you contact their "IT support", its just an Ai chat that doesnt do anything. We were left stranded many times with this eSIM not connecting to internet. I do not recommend this is any way!!

I have used Airalo since 2024 and I have never been disappointed with how it works and handles when issues came up. Had some issues sometimes but they were solved in no time. I’d been always saved abroad and the customer service is super responsive and helpful. Thank you Airalo!
I bought a sim for Namibia, when I landed the esim got activated but I was never able to get internet, so the whole data package I bought was unused, I contacted the support agent, which did not resolve my issue at all, and i was left without internet, also she promised to refund me my money, to which I never got back and its been almost 5 months now.
Absolutely no coverage on both trips to Mexico. Contributed to a significant logistical issue once I arrived in Monterrey. Ended up paying for my cell carriers more expensive, but actually effective, roaming plan. Would not trust them for reliable coverage in the future.
I used an esim from another provider while on a cruise stop on USVI that did bot work. I quickly dowloaded the esim while on my ship's wifi and got it set up quickly and efficiently. It worked like a charm.
A reliable E sim provider for many countries. Support are there when you need them and react quite quickly.
On one occasion I got an e-sim to Thailand, the family got physical sims, purchased at the arrival airport. When I landed I activated, had data, was online whilst they were still in the que for the sim seller. Getting an e sim means you have greater choice, Three offer a good service with multiple countries provided for, but I find their single not as good as EE. So, I am free to negotiate a deal with someone other than three, and get international data via an e sim. I have never had an E Sim fail to install yet. reasonable price, and most can be upgraded if you run low on data.
So difficult to use and to verify to make sure installation is correct, difficult to obtain support customer services via chat only and usually time consuming useless
Bought it, installed and although aparently installation was correct I was unable to use my phone and after hours texting with support staff they couldn’t make it work either

Airlo sims were purchased for family of five. While I’ve had great experiences using airlo for Asian countries, airlo Australia sim was useless. Literally unusable ! It keeps disabling itself every minute or so. Not user error because I’ve used this in the past in Asia without an issue. Also it’s all 5 sims for 5 phones. Very disappointed.
I bought a 10Gb, 30 day plan for UAE and Oman. It loaded perfectly and has worked seemlessly until I wanted to top up my plan as I was running out of data. The app would not accept my credit card even though I used it for the original purchase and it is stored in my Airalo profile. I tried a different card but no success. As I had no transport I had to take a taxi to the nearest town and buy a physical sim card from a local phone company.
