I have been a giffgaff user for a number of years now with my two numbers. Overall it has been a great experience.
However, It is a shame that they do not have a helpline which would be better than endless email communication.

Giff gaff runs along smoothly. Been with them for many years and never any problems. I don't use phone for internet much, so at £6 a month it is perfect value! I never even use all my allowance. I have two sons and two friends who also use giff gaff. I would recommend them every time.
Bought one of the referbished phones.
Made sure I stayed in for next working day delivery and it was delayed.
Due to commitments, I wasnt at home the day it was being delivered, so DPD sent it straight back to giffgaff.
Now im told that they aren't sending me the phone, and im having a refund instead. I cant even buy the same phone again because it's not in stock anymore?
Not only is this against the Consumer Rights Act, it's also a complete waste of my time, when I should be a valued long term customer.
On top of that, your network has become rubbish, and your customer service is even worse.
My advice to giffgaff. Improve - else better newer businesses will take your place, and you'll go under.
I love giffgaff as I have being using them for over a year and their service is always amazing and they even doubled my data for me from 20GB to 40GB so I got an extra 20GB of data for free for the exact same price a month! I couldn’t recommend enough😊
Charged 20 pounds to receive 20 minute call from the UK abroad. Joke company.
1 pound per minute to RECEIVE a call. And no warning about using credit at all. Just rinsed my phone til it was empty.
After being with O2 for ages,giffgaff seemed a good idea as it runs on the same system. I've had my sim card a week now and can't send or receive calls. My phone starts off as if its going to ring but nothing happens. The data comes and goes too and as I need my phone for work 24/7 I'm not a happy bunny. I can't seem to get hold of anyone to help either. What do I do????
I bought a phone from them about a year ago and I returned it for a repair. The phone arrived at the repair centre on the 27th and its status showed that the it was delayed because they were waiting for parts. I contacted them the following day asking that my phone be returned to me urgently as I’m travelling on the 2nd. I’m informed on the 30th that they’ll send my phone back but it was not sent back and the repair centre is closed on weekends. I asked them to send the phone to a DPD collection centre close to the airport so I can pick it up before departure, they refused. I asked them to keep the phone and offer me a refund of the money I paid for it so I could buy a new phone before travelling, they refused. I asked them to send me a similar phone as a replacement, they refused. They don’t have a call centre and you are forced to talk to an agent who will only reply every couple of hours. And they’re complaints department is also an agent who will simply inform you of the all ways they can’t help you from behind a screen because they HAVE NO PHONE NUMBER TO CALL! They aren’t even remotely concerned about helping find a solution at all. I’ve been grossly mishandled and I’m so deeply disgusted by how little anyone cared to even attempt to help, despite my communicating that I’m travelling back for a family emergency. All I was offered was empty platitudes with no actual attempt to even find a solution to my problems and now I’m going back with no phone and no refund. Please please please do not under any circumstances give this company your money for any reason. Because there will be no way for you to actually advocate for yourself without being passed around to multiple agents hiding behind their policies and rubbish company bureaucracy
Typically, a reliable service with reasonable prices and straightforward technology for self-service, but encountering an issue not covered by the self-service options is a real challenge. I'm currently dealing with a repair and tracking its progress on the website felt impossible. Since the repair was scheduled on January 12th, I've received no updates. All communications indicate a turnaround of 10 working days, and we're now on day 7 with no information. The website only shows that the repair is booked and offers a message claiming, 'Here's the fastest way to check the status of your repair. Receive up-to-date, detailed progress as your device speeds through our repair center.' Unfortunately, none of that is accurate! There have been no new updates in a week, and the process is anything but fast!
I've been with the service for about 10 years, but I experience issues with signal dropping out and I still don't have full 5G coverage. It would also be helpful if there was an option to pay for six months in advance, as I sometimes struggle to find the cash.
Complete waste of effort. Attempting to transfer a phone number. I visited the help page and was informed of delays while they tried to resolve issues from December 27th on January 8th. They are eager to sign you up and collect payment details, but transferring the number is a different story. I can't figure out how to cancel. It's an absolute nightmare. Stay away at all costs.
