The delivery itself was fine. However, a major issue with many delivery services is the lack of communication about when they will arrive, forcing you to take an entire day off work. The promise from this company was that they would provide a delivery window the day before, but that did not occur. Instead, we received the typical last-minute call stating they were just 2 minutes away. This meant my husband had to leave work to get home. Very frustrating, especially considering we paid £80 for this delivery and expected better service.

As an elderly couple, we purchased a 2-seater for our upstairs bedroom and confirmed with the company that they could deliver it upstairs. The delivery date was great, and the sofa arrived, but the drivers refused to take it up the stairs. Our stairway isn't narrow or steep, yet they insisted they only deliver upstairs in flats to avoid wall damage. We offered to take full responsibility, but they wouldn't budge. At 72 years old, and with my wife being ill, we now have a sofa stuck in our hallway, waiting for our son to drive 80 miles to help us, weather permitting. Additionally, the drivers' attitude was rather unpleasant; a bit of kindness would have made a significant difference.
