I ordered a product from Allies of Skin last month, completely unaware that I was signing up for an automatic monthly subscription. At no point was it clearly indicated that I was enrolling in a recurring order, and I did not receive any confirmation email about this subscription.I consider this practice misleading and unacceptable. I already have a full tube of the product and do not need another one. I expect a full refund for this unintended order or immediate cancellation of the subscription. This experience has left me very disappointed, and I would warn others to be cautious when purchasing from this brand.
ENG : No problem with the products, which have been beneficial to my skin (especially the niacinamide booster and the peptide cream)!Nevertheless, I have to take away 2 stars because this policy of permanent discounts + the fact that we receive products as “gifts” seems to show that the products are not worth their full price (without discounts).
Shipping was fast and I got 2 free products valued at $116 with my order. This is my first purchase and I'm very happy, I purchased the 35% vitamin c and probiotic face mist. I've been using products for almost 3 weeks and see a huge difference in my skin. The brand is expensive but it delivers on its promises. I do recommend only using the vitamin c once a day until you see what your skin can handle because 35% is intense. I prefer use it in my PM routine only. If you want to see real results this brand is for you
I always bought eyes cream from this company. I have enough of it for half a year. But the last order made in November, was a liquid consistency and has already run out. This is not a cheap cream and poor quality lately. I don’t recommend for purchase.
My review refers to PSA, an affiliate of AoS which was until recently hosted under the same website with AoS. I have used PSA products over the past years, specifically their “reset” cleanser, the “silver” moisturiser and the “goals” serum. In terms of products I only had an issue with the “reset” cleanser, my face reacted very poorly to it and I stoped using it after 2-3 tries. I am satisfied with the other products I have been using so far.Two months ago I placed my order and expected the items (2) to arrive a few days later, as was always my experience with Allies of Skin/PSA. Long story short, I received one of the two items a month later, and the other one is nowhere to be found. I have contacted their support 4 times, and after explaining that I never received my order I receive an answer from them with a tracking link that doesn’t work. From then on they stop replying all together.I have never encountered such a horrible customer service before; if I hadn’t ordered from this company in the past, I would swear they are a scam. I am utterly disappointed because I did like their products. I am generally rather patient, I get that sometimes there are issues with transport, but at this point I feel I have been scammed 50€, which was the price of the product. I never received the package, I have asked repeatedly where my package is, I have requested a refund, to all of which I have received no answer whatsoever, they have just disappeared.
To be clear, this review is not about their products, which are excellent. It is solely about their website policies and customer support, which were extremely disappointing and unhelpful.I made two orders during last Black Friday. One of the orders was two skincare products, taking advantage of the discounts. And Vitamin C & Omegas Cleansing Balm was a gift. Unfortunately, my other order was "lost in transit," but I suspect it was never even shipped. When I contacted customer service, they refunded my money without my consent. This meant I lost the free product and the discounted price, as I would have to reorder at full price. This has happened to me two years in a row during Black Friday sales, and it seems like a deliberate tactic to avoid honoring discounted purchases.
