The photos online look far better than the actual merchandise received or at least it did for us! Very expensive for what you actually get. The online photos look more 3 dimensional, while the cup is really just a photo imprinted on a standard mug. With shipping, I paid close to $35 for a coffee mug that looks like it's worth about $5 in a souvenir shop. Very disappointed - was hoping it would be more impressive as a gift. In addition, it took quite a while to receive the order - glad we weren't in a hurry. I would refrain from buying anything further from Almagems.
I love my items from Almagems! I purchased a phone case and a mug and love them both. The customization of both make them particularly special to me in that they celebrate my small business. Also of note, delivery was seamless (took a little time but so worth it!).
I ordered two products, a mug and sort of pendant, both on sewing themes, that looked beautiful in the photos but were deeply disappointing in reality. I paid in the $20 range for items I would have passed over for a dollar in a store. The catalog photo of a sewing kit made it look like a rich little gift. The website leads you to believe the company is in Boulder, Co. when in fact they are located in China. It took over a month to receive my order. And when I received it, it looked NOTHING like the picture or the description. Very cheaply made. Buyer beware. How do these companies get by with out and out lying about their location?
I was extremely pleased with both the product and the exceptional customer service provided by Almagems. The custom, heartfelt baby bib was beautifully designed and exceeded my expectations. When I initially had difficulty locating my delivery, Traci (customer services) was incredibly kind and responsive, reassuring me that they would make it right if the package could not be found. I would absolutely order from Almagems again. Thank you for such a wonderful experience!
I ordered three mugs, one for a friend that arrived today and is quite nice. However, the one for me is of poor quality, and my husband's arrived damaged. The packaging was inadequate. I'm currently awaiting a response regarding sending replacements or a refund.
I placed an order well in advance to receive a gift for my granddaughter before Christmas, based on the posted production and shipping times. As Christmas approached, I noticed the shipping label had no updates. I reached out to express my concerns about a potential delay, and they assured me everything was fine and that it would arrive on time. After some days and my insistence, they finally acknowledged that the item was not moving. I mentioned that I couldn't use it after Christmas, and it frustrated me that they didn't take my concerns seriously at first. They continued to claim the product was nearby and asked for patience. Ultimately, the item arrived four days after Christmas from a different source, not the one I had been tracking. By then, my granddaughter was no longer around, and I had already bought another gift. I’ve tried to contact customer service multiple times but received no response. The only communication I got was from someone tracking the package, suggesting I open it and enjoy the quality, implying I should be happy and spend more to ship it to my granddaughter. It’s disappointing.
