Called Alpha on Monday morning had a problem with my boiler I don’t have any hot or central heating . Spoke to a gentleman who was very nice on the telephone. He ended up selling me a package. Told me somebody will call me today or tomorrow. Would probably come out within 24 hours to 48 hours that’s what I was told specifically and worst case scenario no longer than three days . It’s now Thursday I haven’t had a phone call yet to arrange an appointment. I’ve called Alpha today and was told somebody would definitely call me to arrange an appointment but I was misinformed as to how long it would take. I also called them yesterday and I was told the same thing. so I’m sitting here with no hot water no central heating when I could’ve possibly gone and got someone else to do the work. disappointed.

Frustrating Experience with Warranty Claims

I wrote a review after attempting to file a complaint and utilize a warranty on 31/12/25. The company responded on a review platform, stating, “Hi, we're sorry to hear this. We understand our team have been in touch to offer a solution. We appreciate your feedback and will be sure to pass this onto the relevant teams.” This is completely untrue and reflects their unwillingness to engage in a fair discussion with customers. Feel free to reach out to me—your customer service agent likely has my details from the phone number ending in 203. In my view, this is just typical evasion from a large organization when the circumstances aren’t in their favor. The product is decent, but don’t expect to access the warranty without a struggle!

Lack of response regarding urgent boiler issue

I called on Friday to report a leaking boiler, and I was assured that someone would contact me. However, I received no follow-up, so I called again on Saturday. The representative confirmed my contact number and promised to have someone reach out. After three hours with no update, I called back, worried about the freezing temperatures and potential pipe damage. Once again, I was told someone would get back to me within 24 hours. Given that I pay for this service, I am very disappointed. My son has asthma, and our old house loses heat rapidly. While I can manage without heat for a night, it's now Monday and I still haven't heard anything.

Outstanding Service from the Engineer

I was initially disappointed when informed that it would take 48 hours to fix my boiler (I had no heating or hot water). However, my frustrations faded when the engineer arrived. He was punctual, friendly, knowledgeable, and well-equipped. Within 45 minutes, the system was operational again. I would have given him 6 stars if possible.
