I have gone through the process of reporting this company to Citizens Advice after purchasing a Ford

I have gone through the process of reporting this company to Citizens Advice after purchasing a Ford Mondeo that was delivered to me and falling apart. Two days before delivery the vehicle had passed its MOT. It passed with a warning of a slight oil leak. There is no oil leak, I’ve checked my driveway.

The vehicle has an engine malfunction warning on the dash.

It overheats and reduces speed down to 20mph on motorways.

The coolant tank has a screwdriver hole where they tried to open the cap but they failed. The coolant does not fill into its coolant reservoir.

The windscreen wash reservoir is non existent.

There is zero heating in the vehicle. As in zero interior heating in winter. Makes for a very freezing cold drive anywhere.

The exhaust pipe was scraping on the road, and when I looked under the car, in order to try and secure the exhaust pipe, I found that the entire underside of the car is rusted and rotten throughout.

I have not been supplied with any tyre lock or nut keys.

I, after three months have still yet to receive any documentation pertaining to the ownership of the vehicle. I am unable to tax it and therefore unable to drive it.

The salesperson demanded that I pay £300 more than the agreed price, and had the audacity to say that I was getting an excellent deal because he runs a reputable business.

He is a liar and a con artist.

Do not buy a vehicle from this fraudster.

After you purchase a vehicle from this fraudster he will block you. He blocked all methods of communication with me, and he instructed his son (the delivery driver) to block me too. My last communication with the delivery driver was met with anger and threats.

The vehicle I bought was MOT’d two days before I bought it, it was impounded immediately and cost me thousands to get it repaired.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE FRAUDSTERS. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY.

Can't get to speak to anyone and there…

Can't get to speak to anyone and there is a glitch in their website - keeps asking for the post code even when entered and won't send without it.

Stay away from AMICA - I am still taking legal action against them.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Bought a car late January, promised delivery the next day, didnt deliver. Fair enough, driver had something happen with his wife apparently. Next day, a friday, car arrived, vehicle was in much worse condition than mentioned in the advert. Interior had holes in door cards and rear seats not folding flat etc. I then used the car, drove 30 miles, and engine warning lamp came on. I called them on the Sunday. Eventually got someone to answer, who was probably one of the rudest people iv ever spoken to. I explained i was a mechanic but havent checked what was wrong yet as i have in writing that it has a 30 day engine and gearbox warranty. Only to be told I'm a liar, im not a mechanic, and that he should never have answered the phone because he was busy, and only answered out of courtesy.....thanks......I guess. Angrily he told me to call back tomorrow and hung up without another word. Needless to say I called for 3 days, and havent heard a peep back from them. Do not buy a car from these people.

Car scrapped one year after owning

Bought a car off these guys, failed to disclose the crack on the exhaust manifold, holes in the back box and blowing flexi. Suspension was rotten along with basically the whole underside. Car was scrapped exactly a year of owning it. Horrible place.

Do not buy a car from this garage!!!!

Do not buy a car from this garage. You will regret it. I bought a car for £2900 with 11.5 months MOT and then 2 days after i bought it, it had a excessive turbo oil leak. They tried to not honour the warranty. They was extremely rude to myself saying it was fault and i must have caused the damage. I lost alot of time and energy to these people. Worst decision of my life. Currently waiting on civil court to get back to me

I bought a car from them

I bought a car from them, and it was delivered with a 30-day engine and gearbox warranty. After driving it for just one day, a major oil leak appeared. I contacted them, and they told me to take it to a garage, promising they would handle the issue. In the end, I had to pay for the repairs myself just to get the car back from the garage. They said they would reimburse me, but now they’ve stopped responding to my messages. Avoid this company they’re dishonest and not to be trusted.

AmicasGroup Ltd are very inhuman

AmicasGroup Ltd are very inhuman, I won’t advise even my worst enemy to purchase cars from them. They’re awful, wicked, dubious and shouldn’t be allowed to run a business at all. I bought a car from them and they sold a scrap car for me without letting me know, after taking it to the garage and spending so much money trying to fix it without any luck in Liverpool UK, I had to tell my mechanic to help sell it as scrap. I have been furious and fuming since as I don’t expect anyone to be this wicked and heartless to their fellow humans. God will punish all of them for making me go through this because I have been working so hard to make my money genuinely and they made me waste that money for nothing because of their lies.

Stay away.

These people risk people's lives. I bought a Ford from them for £1450, within 2 days all engine lights came on and wouldn't move. I had my kids in the car when this happened and needed another kind motorist to help me home. When Amicas finally picked up the phone to me they agreed on an exchange. I paid £3000. The delivery driver on both occasions couldn't wait to escape, even saying that I couldn't test drive until after payment. That should have been the red flag for me then. Of course, an hour later the engine light came on. Ray, the manager, told me to keep driving it and that I was a jinx. Took it into Halfords for a diagnostics. My God, the timing chain was about to snap. So dangerous. They're now ignoring all calls and messages, refusing a refund and I'm having to take it everywhere. Please don't touch these people. Have a dig into their public information also, very interesting.
