Review Time
Since last year, I have been attempting to secure a refund for unauthorized charges on my debit card. The service was billing me for an account that doesn't exist. When we identified the account in question, I attempted to verify it by sending an email to that address. I received a bounce-back notification indicating that it was invalid. I informed the service about this nonexistent account, but they stated that the payment had already been processed and that their policy is not to issue refunds. I threatened to escalate the matter to external authorities and provided them with a five-day deadline for a response. Unfortunately, there was no reply from the service. Currently, I am in Australia and have conducted some research. The next step is to file complaints with regulatory bodies, which I believe include:
1. Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman
2. Australian Communications and Media Authority
3. Australian Competition & Consumer Commission
4. Westpac fraud If anyone has suggestions for a more effective process, please share.
I was charged annually for four years for an account that didn't belong to me. The company later confirmed that the payments were associated with a different verified account and canceled it, but they refused to refund the previous charges. My bank could only recover the latest payment due to card network limitations. I didn’t act sooner because that account wasn’t mine, and it’s nearly impossible to reach out to them as an outsider. As a result, I lost hundreds of euros, wasted a lot of time, and faced a lack of accountability. This experience has made it impossible for me to continue using the service with my legitimate account.
It is nearly impossible to cancel or pause your account with them! I have tried multiple times! Additionally, you can't remove your bank details from their portal! They continue to attempt to charge my credit card, resulting in banking fees! My account status clearly indicates it is paused! I have even tried to cancel but with little success! This situation is absolutely frustrating! I still don't know how to stop them from charging my credit card. What do I need to do to make that happen? Be cautious. Other options may be safer.
Once you move beyond casual use, the platform feels cheap and restrictive. Basic features are quickly limited, time restrictions kick in right away, and it often seems like upgrading is the only option. You're engaged in a session, and suddenly the service cuts you off unless you pay more. It feels more like a barrier to access than a helpful tool.
They keep charging me even after I've canceled, and they deny it when I reach out. The service has been withdrawing money from my bank account for over a year due to the largely automated customer support. All my efforts to terminate my account have been unsuccessful. I am now working with my bank to recover the unauthorized charges.
I've used this service for my classes for years, but after checking my subscription cancellation, I found it was still active without my knowledge. Customer service refused to refund the charge, which makes me reconsider using this service in the future.
