Although there was an issue with labelled address (retailer fault), DHL driver returned later that day despite being under pressure due to time of year deliveries. Driver was courteous and polite. His willingness to return to correct address was very much appreciated. Thank you
Appalling delivery service. Waited in all afternoon for the delivery. Noticed a delivery note in the letter box which said parcel was placed in brown bin - as requested. The brown bin is a food waste bin, therefore I would never request a parcel to be left there, as it’s not secure and also full of smelly food waste. I was home, as was my partner and there was no knock on the door or ring on the doorbell. Just thankful the parcel wasn’t stolen as this has happened in our street previously.
I gave specific instructions for the package to be left through the gate to the left of the garage where there is a box for deliveries. The box was thrown over the right locked gate which is to our garden. Had it been raining £ 300 worth of goods would have been destroyed
