If I could give zero stars, I definitely would! The service uses a delivery company that has been a nightmare to deal with. They attempted to deliver my items twice without prior notice or missed calls. I work full-time but am only 5 minutes from home, so I usually manage to be there for other deliveries. After those failed attempts, they never contacted me, stored my parcels for over a week, and then returned them. I discovered this while checking on my numerous ongoing deliveries. Now, they have another delivery scheduled and sent an email claiming they tried to deliver on a day when I was home all day. They said there was an issue with the address, yet there was no call from the delivery person to clarify. It's a new estate not yet visible on maps, and other companies have reached out for directions. But this delivery service never calls; they simply don’t deliver and send items back. I received an email about the address issue and responded immediately with my full address and phone number, requesting prompt delivery. I checked the tracker, and it’s still stored with no response to my email. This is utterly unacceptable service.
Incredibly Disappointing and Unprofessional ServiceI am extremely dissatisfied with DHL Express UK. My parcel arrived in the UK on 3rd December, and despite multiple chats online, I received inconsistent and misleading information from their customer service team. One representative told me it would arrive by end of day without giving a clear timeframe. Another told me "end of day" actually means up to 8pm. I was never informed I could pick it up myself until I pressed them. In particular, a representative named Chris K. was dismissive and robotic, showing no empathy at all. He also closed the chat without me finishing showing his lack of care and rudeness.Overall, the lack of communication, the shifting timelines, the misaligned staff and the unhelpful attitude have been beyond frustrating. I would strongly advise anyone to think twice before relying on DHL Express if you expect any sort of reliable service.
