I chose Apollo based on a family recommendation, eager to plan my first vacation in years. Unfortunately, the entire experience was a disaster. It started with a terrible transfer from the airport to the hotel and it didn't really get better through the week as the room was unbearable due to noises and humidity, which made it really hard to sleep.To make matters worse, the return flight was delayed 1h and a half.While I was there, I tried to make the most of the trip anyway and decided to contact Apollo's customer service afterwards to ask for a refund for the terrible transfer, for which the money paid wasn't worth the quality.Unfortunately, the customer service was shockingly bad. I contacted them via chat and SMS even before the trip, because there were many unclear things.Communication was generally poor as they didn’t provide critical information about the trip.The worst contact was via email once I reached their claims team. They were dismissive and showed no empathy at all. Instead, they hid behind "terms and conditions" to avoid taking responsibility for the lack of communication and bad service offered, showing zero flexibility or willingness to help.I wouldn’t recommend Apollo to anyone. Their service and customer care are unacceptable and I really feel robbed.
Jag bokade en resa mellan 25 augusti till 8 september med Apollo till Turkiet (Goldcity hotel). Apollo gav ett gott intryck vid kundinformationen på flygplatsen och hotellet såg trevligt ut. Jag såg fram emot att åka på min första semesterresa med dem och hade bokat all inclusive.Middagen dag två (tisdagen) såg god ut och jag åt mycket. Kyckling, lever och skaldjur. På kvällen började jag få ont i magen, men antog att det skulle passera. Efter 1 timma låg jag och spydde. Det finns ca 600 rum på GoldCity och jag hörde att min granne också spydde lika intensivt. Jag ringde till hotellets kundtjänst och fråga om det var ett utbrott på hotellet (i sådana fall hade jag tänkt åka hem, dvs inom 48 timmar från det att jag anlände) i annat fall kanske jag bara blivit matförgiftad av olyckshändelse. De meddelade att det endast var jag + 4 andra på hela hotellet, vilket var lugnande. Jag hörde mig av till Apollo och de uppgav ungefär snarlikt budskap.Jag spenderade de kommande två-tre dagarna på mitt hotellrum. Åt väldigt lite och rörde på mig väldigt lite, för att återhämta min energi. På söndagen tänkte jag äta ett ordentligt mål mat och njuta av min semester. Under frukosten spyr en 11-12 kille på i restaurangen, i nära anslutning till mig. Pojkens mamma tar med honom ut och han spyr upp hela frukosten i receptionen på hotellet. Vid det laget började jag misstänka att det var riktigt illa. Jag började själv må illa och spydde strax därefter. Jag hörde också hur en annan granne låg och spydde. Apollo kundtjänst hörde av sig och lämnade rent ut sagt jävligt trista meddelanden i form av plattityder. De var inte intresserade av mitt välmående och ville mörka hela situationen.Det hela slutade med att jag fick uppsöka sjukvård. Det visa sig att jag blivit sjuk och att de ville lägga in mig över natten på sjukhuset. Jag åkte tillbaka till hotellet och beställde flygbiljett hem, omgående. Därefter reste jag hem och har varit dålig ett par dagar. Jag kommer aldrig mer resa med Apollo och avråder andra från att göra det. Om du ska resa med Apollo, ta då tilläggsförsäkring, eftersom det förmodligen kommer behövas. Någon kompensation eller hantering vägra de. Jag är extremt besviken på deras kundbemötande och att de mörkade situationen. Det hade varit bättre för mig att åka hem redan på tisdagen. ______I booked a trip with Apollo to Turkey (Goldcity Hotel) from August 25 to September 8. I called the hotel's customer service and asked if there was an outbreak at the hotel (in that case, I would have considered going home within 48 hours of my arrival); otherwise, it might have just been food poisoning by accident. They informed me that it was only me and four others in the entire hotel, which was somewhat reassuring. I contacted Apollo, and they provided a similar message.I spent the next two or three days in my hotel room, eating very little and barely moving, trying to recover my energy. On Sunday, I decided to have a proper meal and enjoy my vacation. During breakfast, an 11-12 year old boy vomited in the restaurant, close to me. The boy's mother took him outside, and he vomited up the entire breakfast in the hotel reception. At that point, I started to suspect that things were really bad.I started feeling sick myself and vomited shortly after. I also heard another neighbor vomiting. Apollo's customer service contacted me and left some incredibly frustrating messages filled with platitudes. They weren’t concerned about my well-being and wanted to cover up the whole situation.In the end, I had to seek medical attention. It turned out I was ill, and they wanted to admit me to the hospital overnight. I went back to the hotel and immediately booked a flight home. I then traveled home and have been sick for a few days. I will never travel with Apollo again and advise others against doing so. If you plan to travel with Apollo, get extra insurance, as you will probably need it. They refuse to offer any compensation or proper handling of the situation. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service and how they tried to cover up the situation. It would have been better for me to go home on Tuesday.
They charge for everything!In the already quite expensive cost for just the flight ticket they aslo charge for bringing baggage and only 15 kg are allowed to check in, travelling with a big family for two weeks means that more bags have to be added and, of course, paid for. They also only allow 5kg as hand luggage. Really poor service.
Worst experience ever! We booked a trip to Parga and got moved to another hotel right before the trip. On the day of the home travel we got the info that the flight got canceled. Now we spent a extra day on the countryside and got the info that we will fly to Norrköping instead of Arlanda.I also wrote to them if they could book us onto the Stockholm flight since I have 2 important meetings tomorrow but no reply.//Matthias
Our trip to Lesvos was a really bad experience of 17k SEK. There were several problems with the hotel (mythical coast). We contacted Apollo to solve the problems but they did nothing. Our second message was just ignored. We asked for refund but their customer service denied anything claiming that all the problems, we reported, were described in the webpage of the hotel. Interestingly, we don't remember that information when we did the booking or during our trip.... If you are brave enough to book with them, keep records of everything, including copies of the webpage when you book ( copy of the terms and date is crucial).The invoices have no information about the terms. They just give a link to their webpage, without any indication about when and if they have updated any information.Their services were compromised in just one year (our previous experience from Limnos and Gran Canaria was really good).
