This is an exceptional operating system I've encountered. Although the installation process can be quite complex, once it's done, everything operates smoothly. I enjoy the freedom to choose my own WiFi interface, browser, desktop environment, and essentially customize every element to my liking.

The best operating system I've ever used

This is the most incredible operating system I've interacted with. While the installation can be a bit challenging, everything flows seamlessly afterward. I have the freedom to choose my WiFi front-end, browser, desktop, and essentially customize everything.

Arch Linux with Gnome environment

I'm currently using Arch Linux with the Gnome desktop. I believe it's the best choice for experienced users seeking the latest software in binary form. My experience has been remarkably reliable, with no software updates disrupting my system. I utilize Zen Linux with Wayland and mostly vanilla Gnome, relying on keyboard shortcuts over menus. Services for cloud storage like Dropbox, Mega, pCloud, and rclone work flawlessly. I also use a repository for additional packages, as I prefer not to wait for compiles, and I've had no issues with these binary packages. I sync my Android files with MEGA.

The best OS around

This is the best operating system available. While OpenBSD is nice, it tends to be slower. The up-to-date binary packages and clean design are impressive. I'm currently writing this using the iceWM desktop on Arch.

Definitely worth it

If you're willing to learn, the resources and information are available for you to create your ideal Linux setup. It requires more effort than most, but it's worth it in the end. The package manager and repositories are superior to other distributions I've tried. I appreciate the rolling release model. The installation can be frustrating initially, but once you customize it to your preferences, you'll learn a lot and have the perfect system for you.

A Linux distribution that truly simplifies things

I've been using Arch Linux for two years and I absolutely love it. Highlights include a rolling release model, an excellent package manager, the Arch User Repository (AUR), and ZFS support. The need to handle everything manually has greatly improved my skills as a Linux user. I highly recommend Arch Linux.
