Review Time
Received email with delivery slot 2 hours after end of slot and goods not delivered at all. Received email stating goods not delivered but no reason given. Email stated could rearrange delivery online through your account but no facility to do so.Spent 25 minutes on the phone trying to rearrange but was caught in a continuous loop of giving order number and postcode. Gave up and tried their Facebook contact but after 15 minutes and getting told by chatbot that I was being put through to an operator the chat was closed and I was not put through. Eventually used their website chat and after 19 minutes was allegedly put through to an individual. This person's response to every answer took so much time that I kept thinking I had been cut off again. Eventually I was given a new delivery date 6 days after date of original delivery. This means the birthday present arrives too late. As I have not received a new delivery confirmation I have no idea if I will actually get the goods. There is no way to make a complaint without going through this excruciating process again. The moral of this poor customer service is to use Amazon.
Where do I start , here goes. I purchased a room heater on the 30th October, today I removed the plug to put hoover plug in only to find plug gone black and damage to wall socket . Now the story begins.. . .My daughter contacted customer services at 18.08 this evening for me , after 1 hour and 30 minutes on phone was told they couldn't deal with her only the account holder, she then took to social media , Facebook and Instagram to complain , within minutes someone rang , supposedly from Argos , where did they get my number ? As she'd been on her phone not mine. After another hour and ten minutes , downloading several apps was told I'd get refund and compensation, £30 for heater and £100 voucher , they asked for bank details to transfer the money back , next thing they try taking £30 OUT of my bank , then try taking £100 out of my bank ! Rang fraud team at my bank BEWARE ARGOS
Trying to navigate the app not friendly at all. Then trying to link my nectar card for my points to my account even though the last time adding my points in my last purchase was easy. After searching on my phone and iPad Argos were giving different days for collection for the same purchase.I did try to do a Argos review only to find at the very end it would not accept my nickname and couldn’t give my review.
Made a purchase for click and collect and it said the item was available for collection today. Also I've phoned up to confirm the item was available in the branch today for pick up and got met with collection for another day with no guarantees what so ever. When online it clearly said available.Customer service hung up the phone too.Load of crooks, taking cash whilst online clearly stated available to collectSo all that says... I have them item you've purchased but youre not having it yet because I said so.Useless customer service too.
