Absolutely shocking experience, one of the worst companies.

Misadvertising battery life on a laptop and now refusing to take the laptop back. Ensure you check manufacturer's guides before buying as Argos seem to be ripping customers off with their advertisements/descriptions. Lenovo laptop advertised as '14 hour' battery life but confirmed by Lenovo it's typically between 5-7.

First raised this complaint with argos on 2nd of Jan, have since spoken to 4 different people, one being a manager in store and it seems as though Argos have stopped training in store colleagues in customer service. All 4 colleagues have been the most unhelpful advisors and the journey is appalling. Been told to call in, then email in, then go into store and now back to call in for complaint.

A disgraceful company who doesn't care for customers - avoid!

And argos if you do reply, please note that I don't use Facebook or Twitter and would much prefer a more professional manner of finally resolving this complaint.

I bought an electric throw in December and now it's stopped working i must have spent 3/4s of an hour trying to sort out a repair or replacement they were no help they were talking about a collection which is NOT what I was asking anyway they gave me a phone number to hear the same thing I'm a 69yr old pensioner who has just got over major cancer surgery the end of October now to find out I've a heart problem and argos hasn't helped 21 took my electric throw to penge argos i spoke to one of the most lovely agent Nardia who got my replacement sorted out so quick I've bought tvs phones and this order so quick and I'm glad I got Nardia bless her I'm impressed

They didn’t delivered my order and failed issue refund or reschedule.

Great that they deliver, install and uninstal and remove the old appliance for you which was great for me as a single older woman with arthritis and cant lift this was just the help I needed. The delivery man and installer were great, very efficient so I didnt have to worry about a thing. Thabks you

I will never used argos again!!! I bought a chair which arrived broken, by the courier that had a really bad attitude.
I have now been waiting almost two weeks for it to be collected.
Argos keep reassuring me it will be collected and they will call me before hand, this has just not happened.
The whole point of ordering online is for ease, now im still waiting and can't even get a refund until collection.

Sole store employee, quick, efficient. Typed in all the details directly, took payment, delivery arrangements all sorted in minutes. Closing time, Saturday

Delivery by 10am, Monday, from delivery centre, 75 miles away. Had only paid a reduced delivery fee, for an "all day delivery". Was notified via email/texts, Sunday ("Non working" day) of a 2 Hr delivery slot, delivery staff to phone/text me prior to delivery. Turned up within 2 Hr slot, had been notified 20 minutes beforehand, a difficult to find/access/park property (Nb. Town Centre/Flat/behind properties facing the road. Delivery, 60kg + household appliance, carried up stairs, entire delivery process took minutes.

Argo's have been my preferred supplier for 25yr's . Physical & employee processes, excellent. Online order process was on an absolute shambles, site not working correctly, site refusing to take payment via Debit Card, in multiple transaction attemps, over 60 Hr's timeframe, hours wasted over two evenings. Bank confirmed there were no issues with card

On buying a fridge, washing machine, oven, heater last year, can recall precisley the same issue occurring. Am IT literate, 40yr's using IT, HMG, Local Gvt, Commercial. Have previous memories of having walked the 2 miles to the store, as online systems don't work correctly
