Hopeless 3 x deliverys booked, one sat at depot for 7 days and not out for delivery until customer chased it, the chat service is so slow to respond yet they give you 2 minutes to respond to them or they close the window like we dont have anything else to do but wait on them to provide us a service we pay for, Latest one was not even picked up? do you think they refund as fast as they take our money? NO...
No accountability, no resolution, no support
We contacted Interparcel the same day an issue was identified with a shipment. The parcels were never sent, and we supplied proof that the shipping labels were unused and still in our possession.
Despite this, Interparcel advised the consignment could not be located and then refused to proceed with a claim, citing ATL terms. This makes no sense when the parcels were never dispatched or collected.
We spend a significant amount of money for our business with Interparcel and continue to do so, yet received no real help, no fair investigation, and no reasonable resolution. The matter has been left entirely unresolved, with Interparcel making it impossible to close in a way that is acceptable.
For a business that relies heavily on shipping services, this lack of accountability and customer support is incredibly disappointing.
I paid for insurance and a signature upon delivery, yet the courier scan showed it was 'signed for by letter box'. I was waiting at my office for the delivery and never received the package. The company did not compensate me for the lost item worth a significant amount. I found their service to be untrustworthy, and I advise against using them, as their insurance claims seem ineffective and unhonored.
There is a significant lack of control over the freight companies utilized. Pickups scheduled over a week ago are still not being collected, even after switching to what were promised as more reliable carriers. Responses to specific inquiries are generic, and the customer service staff is the only point of contact, but they have limited information and authority. They do their best, which is why I gave it a 2-star rating, but once things go wrong, it leads to major issues and frustrated customers. This needs to be addressed.
I have been using this service for shipping for over five years, accumulating significant costs, primarily for insuring valuable parcels. Positive reviews seem to come from those who experienced no problems, while negative ones come from those needing post-sales support, making our experiences more telling. The quality has declined over recent years; it was reliable in the past but has since deteriorated. For instance, I was charged extra for a parcel that was measured incorrectly, and when a valuable item was lost, the tracking was stagnant for over a week without any updates. Despite my efforts to resolve the issue, the support provided was minimal and largely ineffective. The delays and lack of compensation for the stress endured were frustrating. Overall, they seem to lack the capacity to handle such situations effectively.
I received a parcel that was incorrectly addressed. The label indicated a certain carrier, which led me to this service. One representative followed up diligently and kept me informed, stating that the carrier would contact me. I provided all relevant details in case it was a gift, but despite my attempts to reach the sender, I received no response. The representative did her best, so I am rating based on her efforts, although I remain uncertain about the carrier's reliability.
An additional charge for 'oversize' was added to my shipment without any evidence from the carrier. They refused to provide measurement logs or photos, even when I supplied confirmed dimensions that contradicted their claim. The process felt designed to pressure customers into paying unverifiable fees. Overall, very poor handling of the situation, and I have lodged complaints with regulatory bodies.
My overnight package, which I paid extra for, took a week to arrive. Despite multiple inquiries, I only received a response when I was about to leave a negative review. I cannot recommend this service, as they shifted the blame to the carrier without offering any compensation, not even a partial refund.
